i was curious how you guyz deal with the game when new updates come out.
Do you need to always start a new world when new updates come out so as to get the new udpates?
How do you guyz deal with it, do you always huild a new world and restart over?
Just wanted to know what you guyz thought. Because I usually love to build big stuff and feel kind of weird always restarting, I restarted probably 5 large worlds up to now.

thanks guyz.
For my build habits, which tend to be quite large and elaborate, I find each update comes out a little too fast to restart each time. So I've worked out a system of boundaries where I set up a distance I do not generate beyond so that I have close-ish space to allow for new stuff as each update rolls in.
But a point does come where you have to go ridiculously far to keep getting the new stuff and your map becomes unwieldy. There are also some updates which are more extensive than others. The 1.7 update, for instance. So much new stuff is being added that it's more or less pointless NOT to start fresh. Chances are I wont play the game heavily until then.
I've been playing my same world since 1.2.5 when I started playing. I did repopulate the nether with Nether Quartz when it was introduced, so I didn't have to go far. But when 1.7 comes out with new biomes and visible chunk-borders between old and new generation, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I'll probably keep the old world around, still, but I might make a new one to play on, too.

But if it's just some normal new blocks then I probably wouldn't.

You think magic isn't real? Consider this: for every person, there is a sentence -- a series of words -- which has the power to destroy them.

Also, off topic, but you using "z" for every s in every "guys" is annoying.
My house is made of steel, with paper for doors.
Also, PLEASE stop saying guyz, it is really obnoxious.
If I miss old world, I can always look back screenshots.
