I saw on my facebook page a ad that lead to minecraft.descargar.es, offering a free download of 1.6.1
I suspect it's a scam (I removed a few bits from the link, because, you know, internet folk will often click anything), but is their some method I should use to inform Mojang about this?

Its best to at least warn people about it. I haven't come across anything on FB yet, but if I see something that says free download for MC, I will get the word out that its not something anyone should click on.

Don't listen to him. There is something you can do about it.
You can usually report ads to Google or Facebook, so notify them about it.
