Yesterday as I was trying to play in multi player, it wouldn't let me so I turned off fire wall and it did let me play for a while but now as soon as i hit multi player, it freezes and a notification " Java Platform SE Binary has stopped working"....Can you please tell me what to do in regards to this? I know its probably something simple but i cant figure it out. Please help Thanks
It sounds like your Java is crashing. I would suggest uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Same with Minecraft.
Also, if you are using the launcher provided by Mojang (the default one), you can disregard what Chrome2Cookie is saying because your launcher is already an executable file (a .exe).

Java messes up alot.
If your launcher is an .jar(format runned by java) there will be a few problems .exe is the safest
@ Chrome 2.....how can I change the settings? Im doing this for my son...sorry....hes 11 and he and I have no idea how to change settings for Java
