Hello, I was wondering if the zombie and skeleton horses I saw all over youtube are in the game. Can they be obtained with a regular horse or are they a custom mod?

is read on the minecraft wiki that no, they need to be spawned in by world edit or something. Those guys must use something like that to spawn them in. Sorry

Yes and no! They are in the minecraft files and im pretty sure they can be spawned with mcedit but naturally they cannot be spawned even with a mob egg so don't get any ideas

Thanks for the answers. Guess I wont be seeing skelly archers chasing me down on horseback or zombie mounted knights taking out whole villages..... sigh.... life sucks.

I was looking forward to seeing them in game too. Quite disapointing. Would of been nice to be able to get one for yourself to ride.

If you want to have them there the zombie and skeleton horse are registered under horse variants 3 and 4.There not considered undead because the wither attacks them.Also there passive not hostile.

They ARE in the coding for MC, but as of now, you can only spawn them with third-party hacks, and when you do, they can't be tamed and don't do much of anything - although Jeb said he might implement them later. Wouldn't it be cool to see a Skeleton riding on a horse against you and your horse?

I'll be extremely disappointed in mojang if they don't make skeletons and zombies occasionally ride their respective horses.
