Has anyone noticed that when you're riding on a horse, the horse movements are so laggy? It's like riding on a boat in laggy multiplayer servers, when you go in front 2 blocks you'll be pushed back 1 block. Has anyone got the same problem like me?

Yes, I have had this issue when playing on LAN, but not Single player... but a quick re-hosting of the LAN world seemed to fix the issue.I haven't tested this on a multiplayer server though
This happens a lot in multiplayer and LAN servers, whereas not in singleplayer servers.
Horses were a HUGE update and they're an amazing addition to the game although yes, I get a lot of lag in multiplayer servers.

But I lag in single player, too...

The jitteriness is caused by new chunks loading. If you travel back to where you came from, it will stop and your horse ride will be lag-free.
This is absolutely not correct. That may be true in single player, but it is not the problem on on server. I'm running a local server and I can run around in circles all day (same chunks, no new chunks loading) and it will be choppy for as long as I run in that circle. This is an issue with the game that is STILL in existence (Notice the date of this thread, I'm posting almost 2 years later!!!) and it likely has a lot to do with the fact that the game is @$#%ing Java based. What a terribly idiotic idea to make a game like minecraft run on a Platform, that's running on an OS, that's running a hardware abstraction layer. FFS...I wish they would make the game a native executable and be done with this java crap. The 1.8.3 all inclusive Java update is better, but they need to get AWAY from Java completely for both the Client and ESPECIALLY the server.
