Ok I was just wondering but what would happen if mojang took out the blocks and replaced them with other shapes? (Making the game less simple) I'm just wondering what the minecraft community would do. (Yes, I know this will never happen!!!)
Well tbh I don't think they could do that with circles because the world would look weird. Squares fit because blocks have sides that can blend where a circle would not fit together and it be just bunch of circles everywhere.
I think it would open up a lot more opportunity for builders. It would be more like Lego, with parts that are cylindrical, triangular, spherical, trapezoidal, beveled, and rectangular. Once the community got over Minecraft's drastic shift in geometric preference, it would be quite cool.

Round Minecraft?
The computer would implode because it is incapable of rendering perfect circles.
But in all honesty, I wouldn't play the game anymore until Mojang blockified it again.

they would loss profits in the stock market and not make enough money to provide for updates so there for it would fail
Mojang isn't on the stock market... They wouldn't lose money, but they might lose potential customers and thus future income.
As far as different shapes go, I wouldn't mind it honestly, except it would make map creation a lot more complicated, while ofcourse opening up more options for creating more detailed maps but other than that, I don't see any benefit to it and would cause more trouble than anything, the reason being that Minecraft was never designed around the concept of different shapes and it's community is now too rigid and unwilling for a big change like that. (Undestandably so.)
There are other games coming with building mechanics that uses different shapes, and minecraft wouldn't be able to compete with those, since those games are being designed specifically around multiple shapes.
