Let me start by first saying that this is NOT a map. This is a set of guidelines to play Minecraft a certain way. With that out of the way, let's begin.
Overview
Caveman Survival is an idea I came up with one day out of the blue and decided to test with a friend. You play in Adventure starting with a wooden axe (atleast one) and spending the night in a cave with a "Campfire" for warmth. You (and your friends) evolve, adapt, and rule the land as you relive the story of us (not exactly) in a shorter time span and in Minecraft. By the way, not all eras are used.
Time by the Eras
As described earlier, day one is spent in a cave around a "campfire" (torch with surrounding cobblestone) just trying to get by. This is the "Dawn of Time". You can also farm but basically. No buckets. Torches can be made but only placed on the ground.
After you have "invented" a set of stone tools (excluding the hoe) you have reached the "Stone Age". You can now make basic mines for iron and deeper veins of coal. You can also make a flint and steel for more authentic fires and fishing rods. Farming is still at a basic state. Dirt huts without doors and other construction with dirt are also able to be made.
About 15 days into the stone age, you will arrive at the "Mideval Age"(Or however it's spelled). More advanced construction (like wood homes and large farms using buckets for water) is allowed as well as iron teir tools. Torches can also now be placed on walls allowing for more advanced construction of mines.
Approximately 45 or more days later you have reached the "Modern Age". You can build as if physics applied with almost anything. Diamond tools still cannot be made.
Finally about 10 days later, you have reached the "Minecraft Age". You can play to the constrictions of Adventure Mode. Almost anything can be done.
One last thing...
When I tried this with my friends, we had a great time. Until human nature took over. Overall we had a blast and give the best of hopes to you and your survuval.
And with feedback, please keep the criticism constructive. It makes the internets a better place.
