What are you, hard at hearing? I said, what is Minecraft to you?
Yeah, that's right. What is it to you? Just a fun way to waste your time, or is it more than that to you? Someplace you can express your creativity? Or do you enjoy it for the community? Maybe you like it to play with your IRL friends? Is it a full-time hobby? Maybe even use it as a learning tool? Am I just reading too deep into this, and you think that I'm insane? You tell me.

Though, I personally don't like making new friends on Minecraft. I'm kind of a loner.

Minecraft keeps my mind occupied and active. Since I am retired and disabled this is important for me.

Wonderful. It's surprising to see someone your age is still playing video games, but that's not a bad thing.

Minecraft is a place....where you can share your creations with the world.

Minecraft is a game where you actually have a (digital) personality. Where you can express your creativity through placing and breaking blocks. To me, Minecraft seems more than a game. I have depression issues yet when I play this game, I don't feel depressed or worried about my daily life because I'm faced with new challenges like making a farm or surviving in general. It's almost like you have another life. Lol it sounds weird but that's what Minecraft is to me.

I find Minecraft as a sweet escape from the cruel world. A nice place to unleash your creativity. I really like survival too, because it tests you in a way. I like challenging games. (I usually play on Hard... and die. A lot. D:)

For me, minecraft is just a way to play other people's creations, to be challenged or impressed.
I'm not into survival and I don't have the patience to make large builds, but I love seeing other people's creativity come alive, either by playing their maps, mods or more unique servers, such as MineZ.

I know when I was a noob I used to think minecraft was a RPG game, but now I see it as a in game community, full of maps , mods , and broken servers.

It was publicly released for the PC on May 17, 2009, as a developmental alpha version and, after gradual updates, was published as a full release version on November 18, 2011.
