Agreed, Iron - Diamond hoes are USELESS, always use stone hoes.
Diamond swords are pretty useless too unless you enchant them — unenchanted diamond swords don't usually offer enough reason to me to favour them over stone swords. But I might be biased since I use diamond tools as little as possible anyways.
snow is the worst thing. it as a building material takes much more time than is to get wood.

That's because snow wasn't intended as a serious construction material. Even in desperate situations, you'd be much better off punching the ground and fetching dirt blocks.
