We give reverence to the sun and moon and ruminate on the 5 elemental blocks Dirt, water, air, fire and the most elusive the code spirit that spawns forth life.
I think we should worship the end, as to me it seems like a heaven corrupted by a dragon and all it's people enslaved forever. If enough worship the end and defeat the dragon the end must be transformed back into heaven.
*sigh* it looks like herobrine will win, oh well
Actually the Herobrine choice was just added, for some reason the choices won't reset...
I wouldn't really have an existing Minecraft religion, but considering this is a hypothetical question, I'd say a religion involving worshiping Jeb, Notch, and Herobrine.

While I have a lot of trouble trying to stomach any religion, I'd just follow the morals of what all dogs think of: Explore, kill things, eat, sleep, & repeat the next day. Although I might worship the Sun god (Ender Dragon?) to bring back the sun when he takes the energy out of the sun & replaces it with the moon.
Notch, god of creation, created the world. He helped it grow, but soon found his creation disgusting and left for space. Jeb, god of Compassion and Growth, found Notch's world corrupted by Herobrine. Herobrine, Demon of Corruption was borne of Notch's own disgust. Jeb conquered the world in the name of good and let it grow once more. But Herobrine still threatend the world to this day. Tribunalists pray for blessing from Jeb, the return of Notch, and the destruction of Herobrine. They pray to Irrata, creator of the Void and Father of Notch, Jeb, Her Highness the Enderdragon, and the Wither mentor to Herobrine.

I've written this a bit better than before:
In the beginning, there was nothing. Nothing but Irrita, the embodiment of the nothingness. Irrita created a positive force, Notch, as well as a negative force, the Wither. For the purpose of relations, Irrita created the Enderdragon, Judge of the Gods. The Wither created the Nether, while Notch created the overworld. The Enderdragon also created a dimension, the End, to serve as neutral ground. The Enderdragon also created the Endermen, to carry forth her judgment.
After Notch had nurtured his world for a significant time, he found it to be disgusting. He left to created a new world know as 0x10c. Out of Notch's hatred, Herobrine was born. As a result, he was a being of pure hatred. The Wither found Herobrine and tutored him in the ways of evil. Herobrine soon came to rule the Overworld.
Irrita returned to see her world and saw that the positive dimension was godless, so she created Jeb, a being of compassion. Jeb created angels to serve him, Dinnerbone, Evilseph, and Grumm. They destroyed Herobrine's influence. They then went into the Nether to defeat the Wither. Since the Wither was immortal, all they could do was create a race of dark skeletons, each with a small part of the Wither's soul.
There are two sects of aequalibus substinebitur. Irritaim worship Irrita and pray for fair divine judgment. Bipunals worship Notch and Jeb and pray for good fortune from Jeb, and forgiveness from Notch.
Both sects worship with something called a Cornu. It is a 3 by 3 pool of lava with a grass block in the center. At each corner grows one of the four different trees. Worship begins by throwing an offering into the lava. Sermons are led by a priest of the A.S. church.
I made a story kind of like this actually, I don't mean to plug myself but I posted the first chapter of it here on the forum called The Story Of Minecraft,
It basically shows that the game has the corrupted monster and dimenstions with a "Final battle" between Notch, His followers, and Herobrine and his Followers. Please check it out
This story does have some youtuber references, some bible references, but it also includes a lot of other religions I know of.
For example, I am Wiccan and I noticed that the game does have a lot of witchcraft theams of enchanting, potions and other magic.
Now before you explode at me, witchcraft is not evil and witches like me (Yes, men are witches) are not evil or steryotypical or satan worshipers.
This game is a midevil castle kind of times (I am aware I spelt that wrong)
There has only ever been The One. Herobrine, the accursed one, our salvation and our doom. He who has thrust us out of our home world, and stolen our memories, our past, that which has made us inherently human, or perhaps he even created us for his own end, for we could never know for sure. All of us share a common beginning. We have awoken in a strange land with no recollection of how we arrived there. Herobrine, he who haunts our dreams, he who we can see out of the corner of our eyes, but we can never quite really see him.
Edit: About the religion of the Far Lands. I call that the Desolation Infinitude. In other words, the everlasting emptiness.
I got my own idea for a religen, not sure of the name. Notch (I follow Notch) is (or was) God of the Skylands before Herobrine (God of The Void and The Farlands) corrupted the Notch's Red Dragon and destroyed the Skylands, leaving one island that was blasted into the depths of The Void and is now ruled over by the Ender Dragon. Most of the survivores were transformed into Endermen. Also Terracraftia (Now known as THe Nether, it was once a huge expanse of oceans and plains) was ruled over by tribes of pigmen, until they discovered vast gold mines. They created vast golden fortresses and they were ruled by King Porcusaurum (God of Terracraftia). They discovered vast lava caverns and accidently unleashed deadly Magma Cubes, Ghasts and Blazes. Herobrine came and also corrupted Porcusarum, transforming him into The Wither King (The Nether God). The lava caverns burst open and all ores became Quartz and the dirt and stone became Netherrack, and clouds solidifying on the cavernous cieling and forming glowstone. Sand became Soulsand and the gold fortresses melted down into Nether Brick. Many pigmen melted down into zombie pigmen and skeletons. The most elite were corrupted into Wither Skeletons. Notch managed to banish The Wither, but when he attacked Herobrine's Fortress his brother overpowered him and banished him to Earth. Many years later Notch created a Minecraftian, the one prophesized to bring Notch back and defeat Herobrine. This MInecraftian's name was Steve. HE conquered the land, creating a vast kingdom. He battled THe Wither, defeated the Ender DRagon and using its egg hatched a new Red Dragon to watch over the land, until Notch could return and transform the SKylands to their former glory. He had the final battle against Herobrine and defeated HIm, trapping him in the depths of The Void, ensnared in his own dimension for eternity. But it was too late to get Notch back. Notch knew he couldn't return, so he created Jeb, his succesor. Jeb ruled over the Skylands, and kept a watchful eye on Herobrine. Their are different paths one follows in this religion, The Skylands (Jeb and Notch), The Nether (The Wither), and The Void (Herobrine). I will post pictures of the alters for each soon.
I'm a minecraft atheist. I'll enjoy my life while I'm alive, help others when I can. And take advantage of new technology (updates) as they become available (if I want to), without complaining that progress is disrupting tradition. No rituals or back-story required.
Role Play is fun, if you want to RP a religion go right ahead. I'll RP as an atheist.
You changed the poll from "A theme that deals with scientific knowledge" to "A theme that deals with Herobrine"
Pay attention silly! The science one doesn't need to be there anymore 'cause it won.

Screw my former religion! This is what I follow now! (Minecraft of course yeah that works.)
