I found weird new monster. I call it the golden skeleton. Its like normal skeleton archer but he wears a full gold armor and shot 3x fast. I found him when i started i world yesterday. I didnt download any mod and no one use my pc or know the password. It spawned on small island i was going to it night and it spawned close to me and starts shooting ( i was playing offline so its impossible to be other player because of no name and nothing in chat says has joined your game ) but i thought his weak like the others so i attacked him 8 with rock axe and it killed me. I got screen shot of him after he first shoot me and fall in water. If any moderator want information about that monster or the screen shot. Reply and i well try to send it some how. If any one had this encounter reply on how you saw him

Mobs wear armor yes. Its normal in Minecraft now. Its been for a bit now

Skeletons and zombies can spawn wearing randomly enchanted leather, gold, or chain armor.

Half right answer. I know they are few of them randomly spawn but he shoot way so fast then others and most his shots hit me even while i run away

Skeletons got revamped in an update and shoot faster now

And Skelletons had an AI update and THEy can now shoot Rapidly

I think it is perfectly normal

There is no enchantment for speed, so how would an enchantment make a bow shoot faster?

its just an AI update thats why they Shoot faster

1, It's a normal skeleton spawned with armor. (update)
2, In one of the previous updates, skeletons shooting speed was upgraded.

It's so not. I just had one in golden armour where there was no gap in between shooting. Thought it was multiple skeletons at first but it's not. I've never come across this before. I have he fantasy texture pack and he looked like he was dressed Egyptian. Was glad to have a diamond enchanted sword to help me. His bow wasn't enchanted. Just had gold armour and I have never seen a mob with armour before

The bow was probably also enchanted with power which probably meant the massive amount of damage.

Mine didnt have an enchanted bow just armour & was scary Fast, also had sprinting zombie which was terrifying thankfully it was trapped.

but later had one with no armour but an enchanted bow. I've got a massive to so anything like that is super clear and obvious.

Yea monsters can spawn with Armour, either if its leather, iron, or gold

so you probably saw a skeleton with a gold chestplate

I have loads of damaged golden armors lingering around in my chests just because of running into those guys
