I think I heard my friend talking about doing a TWD roleplay on Minecraft when it came out on Xbox, and he said he got the idea based off a YouTube series, so I looked it up later that night, came across the series "Hershel's Land", and have been hooked on Minecraft ever since.
I started playing it when my friend showed it to me in 1.8.1 Beta.

I was hearing about it for months and while reading some Minecraft news I saw link to one let's player (I knew what they do but never followed one). I thought - okay, I'll ckeck out this Minecraft and let's play at the same time. After two episodes I downloaded the game, bought it three weeks later, watched that guy's whole let's play, got two friends into Minecraft, both bought the game. It was Beta 1.4 or 1.5.
I'd heard about it several times, but I was never really drawn to it. Then, a guy friend of mine told me about it and insisted I buy it. I didn't like it at first, but after about the second server I was on, i was hooked for life. I've been playing about a year now, and I don't see me quitting anytime soon. Great game with great people on it. I've met friends for life through this game.
I found it so funny on how the game was played so I tried to get a copy of the game. I then noticed that my brother had an account but he wasn't playing it, so I asked him if he could give it to me and he said yes! Alpha will always be the best update of this game.
So.. moved into Intermediate, and people that I didn't know in the classroom were talking about Minecraft. I was curious, and I didn't know anything about it. So I went home and searched on google images, and this image inspired me into Minecraft:
Secondly, I have started watching 'Seananner's Lets Play Minecraft. Which was hilarious, and cracked me up laughing.
I saw it on YouTube and thought the concept of the game was very interesting. None of my friends had the game so I wasn't able to try the game. When I finally bought it, I couldn't stop playing it!
