The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Why do you compare two completely different games? Just because they both have similar features doesn't mean the games themselves are similar. Minecraft is focused on building, while Terraria is adventure. When you build a small shack in Minecraft, you feel proud. When you build a giant mansion in Terraria, it's just... "Oh, cool." If you find a dungeon in Minecraft, it takes you about a minute to clear it, while if you find the dungeon in Terraria, you're lucky to make it out alive.
i just want to say that this is kinda unfair you put terraria vs minecraft on a minecraft forum (same as the other way around) you just going to get every minecraft fan boy to freak out over this saying minecraft is better. same on the terraria forum. but i think terraria is the better game in every way possible minecraft is fun and all but compared to terraria. idk why but minecrafts fan base is just little kids and really annoying you tubers where terraria seems to me a bit more mature game with more adults then kids. but theres way more to do in terraria then minecraft theres like 13 or more bosses that you can fight unlimited times the dungeons are just better. the last 2 big updates for each impacted the game but i think terraria 1.2 beat minecrafts 1.7. theres like 7 more bosses in that update. and its like a new game added to normal terraria. and i bet every fan boys just going to hate me because i think terraria better
I don't think you should numerically count aspcts of games. People like Minecraft because of it's simplicity, we don't want 100 different types of sword, or tons of crafting apparatus, or ores. Terraria has more things coded, that's all, with tons of variations. Most of these valuse dont affect how goo the game is. As for Adventure, it's so different on both games that it's impossible to compare.
Well Than how to hell am i suppose compare with facts without seeing which has more of what! Lol
Just because a game has more ore or weapon choices doesn't mean they win that category. Your ranking system seems more arbitrary than factual.
For instance, lets says Game 1 has 1000 weapons with unique looks/swing animations/effects but they all do the same thing (visuals aside) and Game 2 has 3 weapons that all function differently with the same animations and effects. I'd choose Game 2 because it offers more potential game play options. In most of your "fact" based comparisons it is ultimately the opinion of the player that decides which game is the winner.
no he did that becasue really colors have no affect they never should have been inculded but terraria now has dyes so it still would win
Except he said he included all of the leather armor dye combinations, which he didn't, if he did Minecraft would have over several million and Terraria would have 21. And Terraria's dyes don't let you mix the same way Minecraft's does, at best it might bring Terraria up to a few hundred, which is still dwarfed by Minecraft's several million combinations.

The problem with the truth, is that it never lies.
Personally I think Terraria music is better. Also I agree Terraria is combat based cos I have played and everyone else says so.
I still can't shake off the feeling that you're trying to give points to Minecraft (look at all the extra includes). Try seeing what happens if you don't include all the different colors of items cos there's no point in them. And BTW i think there are more than 10 ores... http://terraria.wikia.com/wiki/Ores
Terraria 1.2 came out and man there is a lot of content in this one. Also add quality battles not just quantity. I like Terraria more because it is creative. Not Minecraft: Wooden Sword, Stone Sword, Iron Sword,Gold Sword,Diamond sword and bow. Terraria:Death Sickle,Terra Blade, True Excalibur, Broken Hero Sword, Frostbrand, Pulse Bow, Uzi, Tactical Shotgun, Red Ryder, Blood Butcherer, Bloody Machete, Spectre Staff and a lot more. And it is also the same deal with Ores,Armor,Vanity,Defense,Potions,Bosses,Enemies,Mobs and blocks. If you guys haven't tried Terraria, you should.
