Seems as if I failed to mention something about the previous 2 posts I posted.
It isn't something to kill the joy of everyone contributing, but it is ment to be a theory. Maybe something in comparison to the major theories in this world (Quantum Field, String). It was ment to be a theory of everything.
With further thought on some of the things given, you could prove/disprove some of the theories, including this one. Though, doing something like this, you'd have to have more willing people to help solve it. Almost like a Society of people who take pleasure in hypothesising/observing and proving/disproving.
Based on my research, I believe that endermen are actually testificates. These were originally normal testificates, but evolved into smarter beings. All of the testificates partially underwent this change, as you can see with their elongated cranium. These advanced testificates secluded themselves from the rest of society to conduct research. (which they stored in their massive library) They Built the 'stronghold' to use as a base of operations. While doing research, they discovered another dimension, which they called the End. They then began building a portal to reach this new dimension, but when it was opened, a massive dose of 'ender radiation' was released.(this is what causes the strange sky color in the End) This mutated them in the menacing Endermen, and caused an earthquake, which buried the Stronghold. The portal in the stronghold is activated with a retina scan. (I shall add more to this later)
As stated in my previous paper, there was a dimension known as Terracraftia, or the Pasture Lands. This was ruled by the great Pigman Lord Porcusaurum. Terracraftia was originally inhabited by only Sheep, Pigs, Cows and other passive residents of the Overworlds Plains biome. The Pigman were originally created by a young Notch experimenting with a redstone contraption to mix the DNA of a testificate and a pig. They were originally a peaceful race, feasting on grass and keeping close to nature. But one day a pigman uncovered expansive gold mines stretching across the cavern depths of the entire dimension. The pigmen quickly began to mine up this ore, and created and expansive and civilized government known as the Goldpork Empire. Lord Porcusaurum created an elite guard, known as the Golden Horde. They were notorious for knowing as soon as one of their own was injured, then immediately swarming the enemy and quickly overrunning it. They were created due to the Gold Mines awakening ancient mobs deep in underground lava reservoirs. These included the Ghasts - An evolved species of Squid that floats through the air, pumped up with superheated helium allowing it to blast fireballs, Magma Slimes - A species of slime adapted to the intense heat of lava, so much to the point that its infused with the magma. The empire was holding strong against them, until Herobrine came. After turning King Draconus, he came to Terracraftia and corrupted Lord Porcusaurum, fusing him with dark void energy until he because a dark necromancer known as The Wither. The Wither blasted open the lava reservoirs, causing massive structures to form and vast lava seas to cover the land. Many Pigmen were smashed into the lava, transforming into plentiful Zombie Pigmen. The Golden Horde were inside The Withers fortress, some of them were melted down into the very first Skeletons, but most of them were melted beyond recognition, becoming dark smoking husks of their former selves. They were now the Wither Skeletons. The Withers golden fortress was smelted and combined with netherrack, transforming it into the very first Nether Fortress. Notch journeyed to this fortress and banished The Wither, although not completely as we know he can be summoned using 4 blocks of Soulsand and 3 Wither Skeletons heads. Steve is very famous among Minecraftians as being the first one to succesfully defeat The Wither since Notch.
"Nether Sciences - The Advancement of the Wither People in the Nether" by Epicness1324
The wither people are believed to be Minecraftia's first great civilization. They were humanoid, being a little taller than steves. They may have been distant relatives of the endermen. They worshipped the demon known as the Wither. They also had a strange power, which allowed them to poison their enemies with some kind of disease that killed them slowly. Not much is known about them prior to 4000 BCE.
Circa 3000 BCE, the wither people had developed portal technology. They were moving into the Nether. They brought the amphibious squids that were living near the shores as food. Using the materials in the Nether, the wither people built large tower
Circa 2500 BCE, the wither people had since expanded their towers into massive fortresses. They had also discovered nether wart deep in the nether, so they began farming it. Using the nether wart, they made potions. This is the first recorded creation of potions.
Circa 2455 BCE, the wither people had created the blazes. Using glowstone, iron, gold and lava to create them, the wither people used the blazes to guard their fortresses.
Circa 2450 BCE, following the advancement of the blazes, the wither people were the first to create spawner technology. In the overworld, the wither people created traps that used their spawners. These spawners included giant spiders, reanimated skeletons, and the zombies of the primitive steves. The wither people may have introduced the zombification disease into the steve population.
Circa 1000 BCE, a nether-spawned virus was introduced into the wither peope population. Having no natural immunity to the virus, the wither people suffered great losses. The living cremated the dead in lava.
Circa 1005 BCE, the wither people had been completely eradicated by the virus. Apparently, the wither people's bones were resistance to high temperatures, as their skeletons were found in the lava, intact.
Circa 700 BCE-2013 CE, in the same way that human skeletons can be naturally reanimated, the wither peoples' skeletons were reanimated. Using the stone swords that were left behind, they patrol their ancient fortresses.
That's how I would've explained it. I'll try to think about clocks.
EDIT: Thought of one way. Our clocks tell time by using sensors sensing particles in the air to tell if it is noon, midnight, sunrise, or sunset. At noon of course, particles are faster and stronger. At midnight, there aren't very many in the air and are much slower and weaker. For the ascending/descending sun, the clock will sense if the particles are slowing down or moving faster. It also senses light levels to confirm.
In the Nether and End, particles don't work the same way. They are radiated by a different source and behave more erratically. This causes clock sensors to go crazy trying to figure out time.
Wow, I got a reply. Thanks, I feel appreciated.
Anyway, I thought about how stars might work, and made the following conclusion: They are small reflections of bits of the moon, caused by the way moonlight interacts with air - it is reflected at certain very specific and seemingly random angles, causing small bright spots in the night sky. They reflect the moon, which is why they appear at night and seem to rotate along with the moon.

Hmm.....it appears that some of these theories do not mention any aspects of previous theories at all, and seem to stray out on their own. At least try to keep more of a central idea together, instead of doing something completely different from everything else.

I usually have a neutral/undecided standpoint on things. And yes, I am part Swiss.
Yup. I'm good at latex. (Kyte314 I would suggest changing it to this one, so if someone's off this topic, they'll see it and click it and they'll find this post :))

Having knowledge helps you find more knowledge. Are some of you guys not reading these theories?
no, sorry, that won't work. It goes against almost everything posted here so far. Read the other theories, the End and Nether existed as they are before portals to them were built.
Sorry, no. If you had read up in biology, you would know that no waste is needed, because animals convert food directly into mass.
I'm afraid that I can't add that one.
first of all, that is evolution, not nether science (of which I doubt there will be any) and second, I have already stated, the nether mobs all existed (with the exception of wither skeletons and zombie pigmen) before portals. No, you guys need to read up before theorizing.
Okay, sorry I didn't come here on Sunday, I have church. I'm afraid this thread is getting unwieldy. and as I only get an hour of cpu time a day, I can't deal with all of this on my own anymore.
Kyte, do you think we could possibly have you do the editing till we can figure out a way to get the editing properly done? I would greatly appreciate it. Until then, I'm afraid people with replies on page three and onward will have to wait for replies until tomorrow or later.
The sun, as seen obviously, is square in shape. How this is gravitationally possible is a mystery, but there is one primary theory: that the sun is very massive near the corners, which pull the center out into a cube shape.
However, it is uncertain that the sun is a cube at all, and not a square. But how is a two-dimensional, square sun able to maintain a gravitational pull? It would have to be infinitely dense given a volume of zero, hence creating a black hole. However, this can be changed with one concept: that the sun rotates in the opposite direction and same speed as the Minecraft planet. Only one side is seen at any time, and the density remains finite.
One question remains: how does the sun create heat and light? Hydrogen does not exist in the Minecraft universe, and neither does helium for it to fuse into. The only possible answer is that the sun is made of lava around a single block of stone (to keep its shape), and the lava is distorted by the thick atmosphere of the Minecraft planet so it appears white. This explains why mobs are burned by lava and the sun: the sun is lava!
Im not sure if you care for this, but I did some similar stuff like what you guys do. Thought you might like to know where minecraft is located.
As we know day last 10 minutes, night 7 and dusk/dawn 1.5 minutes each. Let us assume that the planet minecraft is on havnt moved anything since minecraft was started in march 10 2009(so we know what date to go after) Since the minecraft day is 3 minutes longer than the night, we can find out where about it is. 3 minecraft minutes are 216 minutes. THe coordinates on earth where the day was 216 minutes longer than the night on march the 10, 2009 was east longitude 40degrees and 0 minutes and south latitude 70 degrees and 20minutes. Keep in mind there is probly other places that fits, but I spend lots 30 minutes on a calculator typeing in random coords untill I got close. If you have any better places, leave suggestions down below. Minecraft is in antartica.
Oh ye, I also did some math and found out that every minute in minecraft would 72minutes real life, if minecraft was on a 24 hour cyclus.
One day in minecraft is 20 minutes from sunrise to the next sunrise. In real life it takes 24 hours from sunrise to sunrise. there is 60 min's in one hour thus 1440 minutes a day. If we devide this by 20 we get that each minecraft minute that pass is equal to 72 real life minutes
My friends, opihinalu and CCIII who haven't joined the forums, but they have some theories about the creation of Minecraft. The Creation of Minecraft (and yogurt parfait) by opihinalu
It all started when Notch was eating yogurt and a bunch of chocolate chips fell in. They looked like the word "MINECRAFT". He thought he should go mining and he did. He thought Minecraft should have mining so he started from scratch and made Minecraft.

Minecraft was created when a guy got sucked into a portal and everything was blocky. Then he wanted everyone to see it so he made a game with the exact terrain.
hold your horses! Okay, I like how you put that in theory form, how about this, put in one theory of it's make-up, then another one describing (emphasis on describing) how you make the redstone recipes. And we'll see which of those get put in.
hold it! Minecraft science! Not real world. I'm sorry people, but you guys are trying to make minecraft science work. It isn't supposed to by real logic, only by minecraft logic. Where trees bloom and everything is evolved from pigs.
Hold on, Wither people are a no-no. They don't make sense, There is nothing left, and how would they have survived? The Wither people were not well thought out. And as I have already stated, endermen were around long before the others.
