Oh, and Moriki. If you don't like me refusing theories that attempt to explain the Minecraft world with phenomena that has no place in Minecraft, bugger off. I do believe this isn't your thread, so stop trolling.
1. Not trolling.
2. I do believe that you lack a Ph.D., so, I'm going to listen to those who do.
3. I am not trying to stop you or anyone from using Minecraft to explain Minecraft. I am and will work against those who try to pass pseudo-science off as science.
4. 3. does not mean that using what is observed in Minecraft to explain Minecraft is bad. It means that "attempt to explain the Minecraft world with phenomena that has no place in Minecraft" is stupid.
5. Basically, Im trying to help you out.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I WAS JUST WRITING A LONG THEORY AND THEN MY MONITOR TURNED OFF AND I ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED AWAY FROM THE PAGE AND NOW IT'S GONE! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?!?!
...
Yeah, so is there a genius scientist out there who can tell me of any way to get it back? I've noticed at the bottom of the place where you write the post it says "Last auto saved: 0:00:00 AM/PM" but I don't know what that means or how I can access what I've written. I'll replace this with what I wanted to post if someone helps me, so please don't see this as off-topic.
I'm a bit confused now, but I think I'll make a change to me statement:
We can always find ways to hypothesize explainhow things that are alsosupposedly "infinite" may actually work to supporteither prove or disprove that theory.
Better? (I'm really not so sure...the wording's a bit tricky.)
Does anyone think I've made my statement clearer/better?

I usually have a neutral/undecided standpoint on things. And yes, I am part Swiss.

1. Actually, as you are disagreeing with everything I'm saying and taking me (who, I might mention, is the person in charge of the thread) as seriously as a drunk three year old, yes, I do believe you ARE trolling.
2. Is there a PhD in Minecraft? I don't think so, so that doesn't count as much.
3. Actually, you are trying to say that Minecraft works the same way as the real world does, and that's what I'm arguing against. and pseudo-science is a lot of what goes on nowadays anyways (Have you seen some of the BS the string theorists come up with?) so that doesn't count for much either.
4. You have contradicted yourself here, you've tried your hardest to defend theories supported only by real world science, and nothing in Minecraft. You remind me of a certain person I know who takes his own arguments, attributes them to someone else, and then proceeds to tell them off for something that they had been the ones to say. 5. So, yeah, no you aren't.

Hmmmm.....looks like we have a class 3 flame war on our hands! Everyone put on your standard-issue flame resistant suits!
...Theoretically if you find a way to get around it then most games have believable physics and such. Take My Little Pony (Not a brony. Just using it as an example). Theoretically some scenes that normally would not work IRL COULD work.... if some of the ponies were made of dark matter.
Actually, not even then, as the ponies can see each other just fine. You've also forgotten the magic. (Oh wait, you same some scenes. Never mind, but I still have to disagree, My Little Ponies is 100% fantasy)

Ha ha. Very funny. I just want him to shut up and let me work this thread without sticking his nose in.
Alright people, back to work!
...They could theoretically be FILLED with dark matter, but not actually completely made out of it.
Not sure if the argument was figured out, but the way most scientists come up with scientific laws are by this process:
Observation - Hypothesis - Test - Theory - Test - Law
I agree with Moriki in the fact that scientists do not support their hypothesis, they make further observations, or tests, to see if their hypothesis is indeed true. They do not try to support it with evidence, its more of a trial and error system.
Explanation: The scientist makes an observation, and based on data collected by that observation, a hypothesis is made. The hypothesis is tested, which is basically more observation. If the hypothesis is false, then the scientist makes another hypothesis and tests again, this process may repeat many times. If the hypothesis is true, then a Theory is made. This theory undergoes more testing, if it is false, another theory is made and tested, this can also repeat many times. In the case that the theory is true, then a law is made. These undergo very rigorous testing. Again, if the law is found to be false, another law is made and tested. In the rare case that the law is true, then it becomes, well, a law.
There is no "trying to find supporting evidence" there are simply observations. If the hypothesis (or theory or law) fails the test, then another one is made. You keep tweaking it until it works, or until you decide there is no way to make it true.
We can't really prove any of these, can we? That is the problem. The thing that is bothering me is that since people can't find 100% absolute PROOF that their stuff works with Minecraft, they start using science from the real world that either; a.has no support in Minecraft, b.Doesn't support the theory in question, c.Completely contradicts something else in Minecraft, or (this one is usually the case) d.All of the above.
Moriki has accused me of taking theories with no bearing, yet the theories he's been supporting are ones with no evidence at all for them in Minecraft, so really what is happening here is Moriki is trolling and I'm trying to explain things, but people are listening to Moriki for some reason.

No, that's what I'm saying, to be heavy enough they'd collapse into black holes. Also, let's stop, we're getting off topic.
Most of the scenes wouldn't require them to be THAT heavy. A pony launching another one a kilometer off the ground by jumping onto a seesaw? Maybe the other one could also be very light.

Good point, but how would they be able to manipulate food to get nutrients then? To manipulate it gravitationally would turn them into black holes.
