When you made your Minecraft account, what made you pick your in-game-name?
I actually came up with mine while playing RuneScape; I wanted to name a new account "LunarRepublic," but it was too long, so I chose "SolarEmpire" instead (Here's a link for clarification). So I decided to name my Minecraft account that as well, but ended up adding a 1 because "SolarEmpire" was taken.
Ultimately, the name stuck because it's also a reference to Sins of a Solar Empire.
i chose mine from my last name but also when i was playing runescape lol i wanted to change it from my onld one in the game and made it gwartney so then it kind of carried over to evreything else
Well, I happened to be reading series (a cookie if you can guess which) of books. The main character had a pretty cool name: Firestar. I wanted to base my name off of that and thus, F1reSt4r (my minecraft name) was born
I got my name because the fact that "Gojira" is the Japanese name of "Godzilla", the man because, well, I'm a guy, I guess, and the "54" because Godzilla's first appearance was in 1954.
I've already said this on a thread just like this, but here we go.
One day quite a few years ago, me and my sister got out an old puppet theater thing and began messing with it. While we were being silly she did a puppet show for me. During the show I decided to be silly when I saw her arm behind the curtain. When I asked what her arm was supposed to be, she said "It's my- ummmm.... unileg!". Although the word was totally made up, it stuck to my head like mold on a shower curtain. 2 years later I discover a game called.... Roblox *shivers* (I'd tell you why I hate it but its a bit too personal). Any way, I made an account 2 times because I was trying to get free chat. On my 3rd try, I ran out of names to use. I thought for a bit, then that word came back to my head. "Unilegger!" And so, that's got I got my IGM.
THE'REthe same, give or take on many online games and forums. The meaning is from back when I was in high school, my cousin was "attacked" by squirrels when she went to NY city when she tried to feed one a peanut resulting in squirrels being "evil". And in algebra class we used to go MMMMM pie when the teacher mentioned Pi, and pies are the most holy and "good" thing around. So the screen name Squirrelpie is a combination of the most holy and most evil thing around. The word woosh came from when I used to play this old MMO, there would often be lag spikes and the game would slow down and freeze for 5-10 seconds and then unfreeze, wherein I would say the word "Woooooooooooosh" as the game froze and unfroze it would launch my character across the screen and the word would be all stretched out. Years ago, my girlfriend (now my wife) had AOL on her PC. I found these message boards based around different authors. I went to the Tolkien board and started haging out there. I needed a screen name so I tried to chose Barliman, after the esteemed innkeeper but it was already taken. So I exchanged the i for a y and became Barlyman.
Later, I played a lot of Asheron's Call and I used a bunch of variations on Barlyman for characters. I ran out so I switched to Barlycorn, thinking of the song by Traffic. That has since been my first choice for screen name.

Warriors
ON TOPIC: I got mine from Toontown, if you can believe it. I was a 'Two Face' on a list, so I named my ROBLOX and Minecraft character on that.

This signature has absolutely no point at all. And then it has a point to inform you that it has no point, but it has no point because it really doesn't have a point, but it has a point because it tells you it has no point... and ah, screw this.

It's cool to see some fellow past Runescapers on here (up until it just became money hungry). I got my name from Yu-Gi-Oh for a Youtube channel I made years ago. The name comes from "locals" which is where people go around their area to play Yugioh that isn't a major event. The "Champ" comes from champion which is because I have done pretty well at my locals in the past and there's nothing wrong with being confident. The "9139" comes from the Youtube channel I had made before when I typed in the normal name 9139 came up as an option available if I added that to the end of it so I picked it and it stuck.
P.S. For those that still think Yu-Gi-Oh is a children's card game you should really see how complex it has become since the days when you had mostly normal monsters.

The "Henry" comes from the fact that my name is Henry. The "GoodOld" is just random, I guess.
The source of my intention isn't really crime prevention; my intention is prevention of the lie! Yeah, welcome to the Scatman's world!
My girlfriend played on a volleyball team and was number twelve, and someone else had the same name as her, so they just called her "z"

Maybe you should've thought out what it looks like your name is saying.

I really do not have any idea.
Yeah.
