I've been looking for a 1.6 .minecraft file for a long time now. When i try to lookup one on the internet all i get is 1.6 "jar" files which is not what im looking for. If anyone knows a link to a 1.6 .minecraft file (NOT A JAR) then please list one in a reply, or if you have a 1.6 .minecraft backed up it would be fine.

Use "MCnostalgia", it will downgrade your Minecraft down to any update you would possibly want.
