Almost always I seem to be getting underground. If I build a house in plains, I find myself building a basement underground. If I build in a mountain side I still start digging below. I don't know why.
Basements generally are underground so the plains part isn't too weird. But I always need an underground part of my house too
I always use the weakest pickaxe necessary for mining a block, i.e. wooden for stone and coal, stone for iron, etc.
When I build a house in a forest, I make sure that no leaves are above it or within two blocks of it. In addition, living near a cliff makes me nutty paranoid about falling mobs, even in broad daylight.
I call gold butter, and I call cacti pickles
I also have a weird desire to mine coal. In my survival, I have like 5 stacks of coal, but for some reason I just cant help ignoring coal.
I agree with you, except for the butter and pickle part.
when i find a cave i always... just ALWAYS get ten blocks in it, so if there are resources i know if it is worth it or not, then i find a mountain to dig a giant house in the middle
my habit? humm? explained in one word.... OCD XD my habit is that every thing has to be perfect in shape and i point out every unsymetric thing that is built
I always make my gathering structures pretty...I once built a 6x6 mineshaft with a full staircase down, stone brick walls, and a spruce log support thing in the middle, before even using it to start mining XD

1) Always have at least 2 free spaces in my hotbar
2) Organize my chests excessively, on my current long lasting survival world ( about 1 year old ) I have my chests perfectly organized, with items in alphabetical order.
This isnt really a habit, just a fun/nerdy thing I've been doing
About 7 months ago, I downloaded a map that resembles Earth in continents, etc, and have built villager cities, castles, etc, reenacting history, etc. It's fun
In one of my cities, it takes up 2 chunks and I downloaded a mod for more advanced villager AI, so the villagers occupy the whole city. I also have trains connecting the cities, and am atm working on a atlantic high speed rail to connect my London city with my New York ( just started ).
I also turned giant areas into farm land, included deforestation, factories, war, etc.
I also hit the top leaf. Check out my channels video where I actually do that lol. Like comment and Subscribe. But sorry about the audio guys. many more to come
It always annoys me when I have an one stick. What am I supposed to do with it? It basically wastes an inventory spot and I'm not going to craft another sword...
So I tend to drop it at the nearest player and run. >.<
When in Creative Mode, it's a habit of mine to always spawn just one Ghast. I seem to enjoy watching as it flies off free and hours later going on a hunt to see if I can spot it again.
In survival/hardcore, I obsessively try to close doors and trapdoors behind me as tightly as possible, so that I'm literally inside the door, and can just walk on in or out of my house (although I get stuck half the time). No idea why...
I always break that one leaf block at the top of a tree. It just sort of... happens. And when I'm mining, I tend to get a little OCD. All the torches have to go on the right. I don't if stuff will spawn on the left, the torches go on the right. I don't care if I have Rae's minimap and can use waypoints to avoid getting lost. The torches go on the right. And for ores, it either has to be all or non. I can either pass by every ore I see, or mine all of them. Every little useless piece of coal or lapis or whatever. I hate half-mined caves.

...But hey, what do I know? I'm just some kid... from the internet
I've found myself doing this exact same thing plenty of times!

Hm, I guess that would work if it was a really tall tree but I don't know when it would work other times
No, not the even numbers! But at least they're at least 3-high. I can't stand the 2-high houses...
Hah, nice! Feng shui is cool
Hm, interesting. I don't know if that works in Vanilla
Me too. Always.
Hm, that is an interesting one...

And I always wear my special Minecraft T-shirt. It's kind of worn out.
So I tend to drop it at the nearest player and run. >.<
