I don't know exactly where to put this, so if it needs to be moved, go ahead.
So, my problem is that I can't play Minecraft temporarily. I sold my computer so I can save up some money to get a better one. This means, I'm stuck with an old laptop. One gig of RAM, an Intel Pentium M (about 2 ghz), and Debian 6, because I can't live with Windows XP (but Win7 is okay).
I've been watching a few Minecraft survival series on YouTube, but after a month, it gets boring (and I have 4 months to go). So, any ideas on minecrafty things I could do while I wait to play Minecraft again? While my computer is bad, it's not horrible. I can make Minecraft skins, and I've done several.
If you're really into Minecraft you could make some fancy minecraft related stuff, like a texture pack. Also, if you download Mcedit, you could try and make a fun map from scratch. Even if it's not great it's fun to derp around in. ;P
I'm sorry about the extremely slow reply. After some of you guys implied that Minecraft might work, I tried to install it. It did work, if on superflat creative only, but I had a little fun, especially when playing on a server hosted on another computer. So yeah, it works, but it's truly laughable.
But then, my whole OS went down for good, no thanks to dpkg. Because I can't play Minecraft at all now, my productivity increased 2000%, and I actually remembered this thread. So yeah, I'm tripping over my feet to install Minecraft again, but thanks everyone. I'm going to try to do a texture pack, and perhaps some paper cut out and glue crafts using my skin, if I can get my printer working.
