Minecraft updates so fast, the minute my favorite mods get updated... *poof* MINECRAFT 1.50.0 IS OUT. I think they should slow it down a bit, I understand the fixes...but still.
I dont play with mods too often, so It doesnt make much of a difference to me at least. the mods that i use are updated within hours of the next MC update, e.g. Optifine
Aye... Its too fast. I mean... Bug fixes aren't important at all. Losing the ability to swim, thats cool. Its not important enough to get an update with about 200 other bugs.
1.4.2 had bugs that inescapably and instantly kill you. Hardcore is a thing that people do. Enough said?

"Sometimes, I just wanna give up, say 'I'm done with this mess' and go to bed. But you know what; you can't shrug off your responsibilities. You got to pull yourself up and meet the challenges head on. That's the only way you're gonna get ahead in life."

Slow down, Mojang!
P.S - I am prob the only one who thinks this.
First off, DONT UPDATE.
if you click the update button to get the new features, thats your problem.
second off, quick updates for the bug fixes are pretty important.
I hope i solved your problem.

The 1.5 update will be several months away. After that, modding API will come out, and your mods will not break as much, if at all. Small, optional packages will be released via the MC launcher, just like normal updates, allowing people who like new content to have it. The huge updates will cease to happen.
