i never build with wool, i like lava and fire to much. but with some mods, wool can be resistant to filre. as for the colors, i like a mix of both classic and new, someone should add a mod that allows you to use both types.
You don't need mods for fire-resistant wool. Just do /gamerule doFireTick false and no fire spread.
For my building style, the current scheme is very appealing, especially with that deep green (very olivey.) Classic is definitely, well, a classic, though
I really like it. I think the bright colors of classic looked really nice, and to me it looks like the current overall color scheme of the game is a bit more dark and muted compared to classic and alpha. It's cool to see an element of the brighter color scheme being brought back.[/p]

i like classic colors, except the pink. new colors are just "meh"
