I think it boils down to people not quite understanding the definition of vanilla. They come up with an idea,"hey tornados would look so cool!" then without further thought besides how cool it would be they rush to the forums and make a thread suggesting it.
Villager trades aren't that bad....................Just most of them. I want to kill the villagers that want me to give them gravel and emeralds for less flint then I gave him gravel (Just remove this guy, we can already buy arrows). 3-4 redstone is a total rip off too The glowstone blocks aren't a bad deal, nor are the diamond tools/gear. The arrows is kind of a meh deal, I wouldn't buy them.
Obsidian tools does get boring hearing about. They'd still be over powered if it was only as good as diamond and couldn't be enchanted. I hate mods that just add new tools too, unless they are new origional tools like the wrench, mining drill.
Another redundant suggestion that I am tired of hearing of is also the "new dimensions" idea.
Yes, unless it's on All 'Dem Dimensions (the dimensions megathread) they are quite annoying.

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
But dynamic lighting is a maths and GPU problem, not a Java problem. WTFLOL.
Uhhh... What was with the random "WTFLOL" at the end there..?
Harder problems have been solved in 4k, not to mention 64k. Granted, not in Java, because no serious coder would use that for a game. But that's not what Mojang are, and neither are you, so you might as well stop pretending to have the faintest ing clue.
Please stop. The point is that dynamic lighting won't come to exist in Minecraft, regardless of whether it's doable or not. We can scrap the last sentence there, because I'm not "pretending to have the faintest f-ing clue".
That's not the point. The point is all the kids who come in thinking they're original and post the same crap over and over while using the worst possible arguments to defend them (and failing). Both of you, feel bad.
Oh wow, post of the decade right here. The childish "HAHAHAHA" seals it. That's not really point of this thread, and saying "it's just fu-ing coding" doesn't really defend or strengthen anything.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.
I once saw a suggestion where he said that if a zombie kills you, you turn into a zombie and have to kill as many docile mobs as possible before daytime... It made me cringe.
I have to say that I disagree somewhat with #14 (gold coins). I don't want them to be added now...but I think it makes a hell of a lot more sense than emeralds.
1. Gold coins are classic currency items...for anything
2. It would make gold less useless
3. It would make mining to get currency a practical option (making emerald ore your main source is silly, it requires a specific biome and is very rare, sugarcane and wool is the way to go)
As I wrote that, I realized that you could use a massive zombie pigman farm to gather tonnes and tonnes of gold coins, but then as I wrote that I realized that you can also make a massive paper farm...

The only trades I use are for diamond gear, chainmail, exp potions, and sometimes food.

Just because that idea is used so many times elsewhere doesn't mean that Minecraft must jump on the bandwagon. I personally think Emeralds were a genius addition. Gold coins were so easy to go for, but Jeb went with something different and made it work. It may take a smart person to go with something already there, but it takes an even smarter one to come up with something completely different, original and better.
2. It would make gold less useless
That can still be done without the adding of gold coins.

Why is it "silly"? Because it's not realistic? Because it's not something that's already been done? I don't get it, "sugarcane and wool is the way to go?" What? Yes, Emerald Ore is rare, but don't forget that a second way of obtaining them is through simple trades - some trades that can be quite easy to pull off.

I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.
Irony in the first degree.

EDIT: Unfortunately, I've also seen a few "Minecraft Default should be HD" threads in my time.

Ugh, here we go...
Thank you. Adding.

EDIT: Yay, I am now an obsidian miner.
I'll consider it. I'm an avid fan of that beard of yours.
