A lot of people I knew talked about it, so I figured I would have to try it out too. At first, I got so lost because I had no idea what I was doing. I couldn't break blocks. I couldn't craft anything. After a while I got confused, so I looked up some tutorials. After that, I had a ton of fun with the game.
My first reaction was honestly, (Exactly like this) "I'm not payin' for this " But everybody recommended it to me and it looked ok, so I downloaded mineshafter to try it like I always do (Test the game out before buying, back then they didn't have demo.) and it turned out, it was way awesomer than I thought it was going to be. So I bought a legitimate copy of the game and have enjoyed it ever since.
I watched the trailer video on the website and thought, looks easy. Stupid zombie does nothing, and that cave is (DUHHHH) empty. You get sweet armor (wasn't thinking I had to dig it up) easily.
Looked more like a storyline quest game than a one player death sentence.
Then i saw the price and was like, lol what a joke, might as well ask my parents to let me buy a flamethrower (oh i had the cash, i just didn't think they'd let me waste it on this junk).
Then i watched more videos, and i finally got it on Xbox.
Since i knew a lot about it so i wasn't telling everyone "oh ya had a dirt hut day one"
I had a sweet giant house by day two...can't remember where i had the torches for that island though...
Although i'm still WICKED SCARED of caves, don't ask why, i just hate caves.
I thought it was terrible beacause the game looked terrible. But my brother installed a texture pack and it looked a lot better. Then I proceeded to make my first world. It was called boom (can you guess why?).
I just saw some youtube videos called "My First Minecraft World".
"And here is my 75 block high tower made out of cobblestone, and a railroad system that goes from one side of the world to the other"
During my first time playing minecraft, I ran around hitting things with a sugar cane (which i thought was bamboo), and when night came i hid under a tree, got blown up by a creeper, and deleted the world.
first i heard about it i thought it was one of those sucky games like world of warcraft but i tried it then i found out it was actually quite awesome so i started playing it and now im a frequent player
I Had minecraft during alpha for about 2 weeks where i went to it when i was just bored and didnt think anything off it after about 2 weeks i sorta just left it there untill i got a new laptop a while later (beta 1.8) thats when i started playing it properly, thats when i first thought ... im going to wind up nolifing this game and lo and behold i nolifed it for ages then moved to SA:MP then came back and im currently trying to half and half it
