I played it in the Alpha and I didnt noticed tha i played with monsters. so i get into a cave really early and searched for something to build with. suddenly a wild skellington, no two skellingtons appeared. I panicked, built a few blocks of dirt around me & pressed the quit button...
And now im playing it nevertheless...

My thought "This game sucks(I was raging)"
the reason for this statement that I would never say today is the fact that I didn't realise that instead of just clicking on blocks you had to contiuously hold down the mouse button so for 2 hours I sat there clicking a tree and some dirt with the only things I got in those two hours was sugarcane,seeds, and some black dye( I forget what it's called. I also had the best I have ever hadand then deleted the world after my friend said you gotta contiuously click.
"Why are you on this, can we go upstairs and play COD?" - That was my reaction, I now run a server and love this game so much. My friends still point out what I first thought of the game and I am well and truly ashamed.
I started playing just before Wolves came out as new mobs. I thought... "this game is stupid, but fun."
I'm the type to tinker with options before playing a game, so I did not know what creepers were for weeks after playing the game.
On my first day, I found a pink vanilla sheep. That was a decent welcoming gift.

I started playing before any of the big Youtubers other than X, who most of you probably don't know. :| Thought it was cool, but back then it was only the online version of creative, haha.
Before I started playing I had watched some tutorial videos, so I basically knew what to do. The zombie sounds scared the hell out of me for weeks, though.

I'll try Minecraft! Where I'm I!? I'm going to mine. Dirt block won't break! I'm going to blow up stuff! TNT disappearing! Oh, I see, I have to BUY Minecraft in order to get all the features. I still like this. I wish I had real Minecraft.

Where I'm I!? How do I move? What are these green blocks just hopping and making a sound that sounds like two pieces of plastic hitting against each other!? What are these things that they dropped? Eggs? Eww, they're slime balls! *drops them* Oh, I see how Minecraft is!
