The hitbox of the eyes wouldn't make easy targets. The wither isn't an idleing statue.
There's using bedrock to corner it at the bottom of the Overworld some distance away from your most precious builds in addition to using Smite V netherite swords, potions of regeneration and having a few buckets of milk in inventory. There's enough ways to kill the Wither, it does not need another weakness that would essentially allow players to cheat to beat it. It's better to beat it the right way, the way it was intended which is now.

I agree. I spawned my first wither deep down in a stripmine with a long floor. I just wanted an easy beacon, not a fair fight.
There is no point giving it a weakness.

The only reliable way to kill it repeatedly without it destroying your builds. If a wiki is unable to state an effective strategy to beat a boss then this would suggest the boss fight is unfair or tedious. I don't like unfair fights, stress isn't good for your health for one thing, and there's too many things that can go wrong if the Wither were to receive a buff that made it easier for it to escape its subterranean prison. Some players may be strictly survival or PVP people, but people like me have a non PVP playstyle where we like building structures, not just fighting monsters all the time. My current server is PVE, with PVP events held voluntarily in arena battles only, everything else is cooperative and non grief gameplay.
