Not the special, if you have been playing minecraft since alpha beta floating islands are common, and huge caves still are. Read what i said about diamonds, spider jockey's and pick sheep in previous post, and as for the sugar cane at a low level that's kind of cool...
Someone's a kill-joy.
Also i never played alpha, I found the island during the new versions.

"I'm giving up on sabertooth moose lions, so I'll settle for wolfbats. They can be pretty vicious."
Then nothing is rare for you?
Sorry but I can't find a thing that doesn't exist to say "I found a rare thing". It simply doesn't exist.
Those things are the rarest I found as the thread title says
Most the things people listed are common, if not they were common back in the day, as for spider jockeys jeb screwed up the spawning algorithms so unless you saw one back in beta then you cant say you saw one because there are common now, also i think someone said surface lava is rare, it's not, i see it all the time, every world has them and they tend to be near spawn and all over the place. I have come to the conclusion that mostly everyone here started playing near/at/after release...
Ive seen many spider jockeys, a pink sheep that spawned on my indoor gold course, a desert temple spawning in the middle of a jungle, a floating dungeon, and a surface stronghold. Also i found a weird pink illusion when i defeated the ender dragon, am i the only one?

what have I seen? all naturally generated structures save for a Temple in the Village, in one world, all within traveling distance of a river. i.e. there was a jungle with a temple in it near a river that led to a desert which had a rare desert well, RIGHT ALONG IT, that had a pyramid near it, then within viewing distance of the pyramid, was the NPC village that was half in and half out of an Extreme hills biome, making some of the houses "normal" houses. right across the river of the Jungle biome was a cave, leading down too a mineshaft that had all 4 kinds of spawners in it, along with the dungeons.
I sailed up to a huge forest once and it was all burning from exposed lava but it never burnt out. Was fun wandering around with fire everywhere but my framerate really dropped. And then after an update all the fire just went out, now it's just boring hunks of log in mid air.
as for spider jockeys jeb screwed up the spawning algorithms so unless you saw one back in beta then you cant say you saw one because there are common now,
the percentage of spiders that become spider jockeys is unchanged from previous versions, to my knowledge- it's still 1%. I'm not sure what other spawning behaviours that were changed could affect how many spider jockey's spawn.
also i think someone said surface lava is rare
Nobody said that. The closest I can find is Marv, and he SPECIFICALLY says "it's probably common to my other forum members". You have to remember what the thread title is. It's "Rarest Things you've witnessed in Minecraft" not "rarest things in Minecraft". Wind your neck in.

and I have come to the conclusion that you are an "veteran player elitist" That is, somebody who, because they started before some others, feels a sense of superiority.
This sense of superiority is unfounded for two reasons. First, playing the game earlier isn't a net positive. And second, it could very well be that you didn't start the game earlier than those you are criticizing anyway. It just so happens that they are fully aware of the fact that when they first started playing the game doesn't matter at all, and they don't use it as a yardstick to judge their self-worth.
-I've got a mineshaft in a survival world that intersects with three ravines, and has two zombie dungeons and a spider (not cave spider) dungeon. The one of the ravines intersected with another one farther away from the mineshaft.
-I have spawned a zombie wearing full leather armor. (kinda rare)
-I have found a stronghold where the end portal room intersects with an abandoned mineshaft at a cave spider spawner
-And my friend generated a world where the spawn is on top of a jungle temple. (315366527804170491)
I've seen at least 20 spider jockeys, 10 charged creepers, 3 endermen suicide, and a bunch of zombie pigmen dying from lava(?). I've also seen quite a few villagers walking out in the middle of the night when groups of zombies were outside the door, commiting suicide and killing all the villagers in that room AND 15 desert temples AND a few jungle temples.

Me and my 2 other friends were on our server when 4 creepers fell from above exploded in mid air and killed all of us when we were moving our stuff to a second base which was like 35 diamonds countless health 2 splash pots and many more and we lost it all... also found a 6 Diamond vein, and other things i can't remember and i have been playing since 1.5, I'm more of an unlucky person
Pink sheep are more common than brown, black, grey, and light grey sheep. Stupid extreme humps biome. But I have seen a cactus on stone and in a cave before.

You may want to check up on the news.
Really? So have I!
Strangely enough they keep appearing inside my strip mines!
