There have been many minecraft rumors, most spread among idiotic 8 year olds. What are the dumbest you've ever heard? (Apart from herobrine, we don't want this turning into a flame war) One i've heard is that if you dig deep enough, you get to minecraft china, where its always snowy. I was told by a kid whos singleplayer is being constantly hacked. I wouldn't be surprised if the hackers were feeding him the ****.
Also, probably the dumbest and funniest lie of all time was told by an 8 year old. He doesn`t have premium, and he apparently got on his cousins account and visited a server. On there he found a castle surrounded by giant mushrooms. In the castle was herobrine and hooded people running around with eyes of ender, ender pearls, netherrack with reversed textures, potions and such. He said one of the hooded figures said: This is gonna hurt. Then he apparently drunk a potion and blew up. Then after a breif encounter with herobrine, the douche got stuck in a box trap (A pressure plate surrounded by iron doors) and escaped by blowing up the roof with TNT he magically got. Barely surviving, he was attacked by two hooded figures. Another player with the default skin defended him from the hooded players. The two then apparently fought their way through the castle, seeing end portals, nether portals and a skyland portal. He also saw many of the hooded figures smelting obsidian and getting obsidian swords and armor, then fighting them. Eventually the two escaped and went to a house. The player gave him diamonds and obsidian ingots, then said: Beware the dark of the night. Then he left. The kid said the name of the server was wierd and he couldn`t remember it.
That was the most dumbest and most ridiculous story i`ve heard, though i didn`t say that to the kid.
To all of you people who think Notch is still working on the game, he stopped working on Minecraft in late 2011. Get your facts straight and stop spamming his twitter about Minecraft updates.

If you saw the amount of research I have on it you would see why I don't like it.
A lot of my research is from a friend who has been in the marines for 15 years, much of what he says I don't like. TBH, I would believe his word over anyone on here, no disrespect to anyone. It's just this guy is at the top of his game, if there is a wireless communication, or network, or anything computer related going on in Afghanistan it goes through him. So until I see otherwise, I have to trust his judgement on the situation.
wireless communication and network yes, but what is his experience with game and software development? what i've noticed, once jeb took over lead development, **** actually started getting done, and even more so when the bukkit team joined, @dinnerbone has been working on and fixing essentially every single bug people have mentioned when they say they don't like the SSMP merger.
any performance hit taken by the SSMP merger will be offset by bug fixes and code optimizations.

Probably that you can download the any mod on the Xbox that you can on the PC..
