I once got banned for asking the Owner how long the server was up. He banned me for beeing 'snoopy'

My friend was keeping a sharp eye on the marketplace prices, and bought and sold very cleverly. He was earning thousands of dollars an hour (where people usually can get 1000 at most). As a result, he was banned for x-ray. However, there was never anything on the server which said that buying and selling large quantities at the "free market" was illegal.

I got banned for griefing, because I took down a already destroyed house, and took someones diamond blocks that were in the middle of no where.

I got banned for speaking in caps in 1 sentence for fun, and in another server for no apparent reason.

I was banned from a server because I logged on, off ten minutes later and never came back for a week =/

And about correcting the grammar - It sounds like you got annoyed by a simple typo, and I'm sure that wasn't the first time and they finally got fed up You know, you can get banned if people just get sick of your attitude and considering you even have two accounts, and one of them is used in a way which gets you banned from several servers. Well... to be honest, you don't seem like someone who's got the best attitude around

So no, I don't consider those to be unfair at all, sorry. However, there is obviously some people here that got banned for very unfair reasons indeed

On the server I was mod on, I had mod for 2 months, being an active player. The server started because another was down, all the players were from the original server. When the original server came back up, I went back to it, and the server I was mod on, after 2-3 weeks demoted me due to inactivity. I come on to remember about when I was mod there, not complaining though, and not putting anyone down, but I got banned for my "attitude."
And about the grammar, I corrected it once, for someoen I thought of as a friend, thought he'd take it as a joke, but instead I got permanantly I.P. banned. On that server they encourage you to appeal on their forums if your banned, just so they can laugh at you and mock you, they don't give a crap about letting you back. They permanantly I.P. ban over 2 block griefs, first offense.

I got banned in a server by my friend for the reason ,"MY DIAMOND!" when we were caving and I found diamond,then I mined it and told him. Then got banned. Worst friend ever (not real life friend, though).

i was a donater of minetown.net of like 20 dollars.. ive never been banned before for anything to do with following rules allways something stupid on the people who run thems side anyway i had a store on there server some dude wanted help buying something from my store he put 1 gold ingot in the chest and to help fix it i needed him to take it out well he wouldnt so i took it out for him and tossed it to him with Q the throwing key well anyway next day i come on the dude lied to a admin saying i stole 1 gold ingot from him so they checked it with logblock saw i took it out and perma banned me for it freaking messed up right? logblock doesnt log player based log only block place/break and items that can be opened so i tryed exsplaining it on the forums and could not belive there remarks a bunch of children downing my post everytime i posted i was banned from the forums to for nothing.. and the funny thing was they belived a newbie of 4 hours over a vip of 20 dollars....

I was once banned by myself because I was testing if I could do that. Other than that I've never been banned.

I was on Shadowraze on time and I came up to my house to find obsidian all over the outside of my house and covering my door... I didn't have a diamond pick so I mined through the wall to get in and get my valuables out if they were still there. The admin or mod tp's to me and bans me for griefing, I didn't even get time to explain my self. I later tried to talk to them on the forums and they had a mod ban me from the topic I also was banned from anything that was Shadowraze related....... I took up a dispute with MCBans and I lost because they had a screenshot of me breaking into my own house, and the irony is that above the door you can read the lockette sign that locks the door under my name: [Private]

The stupid MCBans mod agreed that I was griefing and I was global, username, and ip banned from Shadowraze. Dahell??

I was banned once for throwing snowballs on a creative server. REALLY?

I was banned for killing a cow, the admin started flaming me in chat for "Killing possible farm animals" After about five minutes of flaming he banned me for "Griefing".

The funny part is that there was no rules against killing animals, so really I was banned for doing nothing wrong.

I was online talking to my players (I'm the owner), and my friend messages me (he's a mod) saying "surviveking banned me and deopped me!!!!" I go on, and surviveking apparently is a member, and somehow deopped this mod and banned him... not really MY story or stupid, but still peculiar...

Oh, but I WAS banned (tempban of 2 days I think) for having 3 slimeballs in my inventory in the server's Event World, which I didn't see ('cause they weren't in my hotbar), and then as I DID see them and threw them away, 2 minutes later I get ban for having items which could change the spleef games...

Oh yeah and what's sad is that a week or so later, people were taking snowballs from the golf courses, making them into snowblocks, and then placing them in such a way that they were able to sneak of and build snowforts in the sky above the Event World. Not one ban.

I won against an admin in fair combat in a pvp server.
