Who looks at the stars in Minecraft nowadays? Who properly looks at them? I don't think anybody has properly looked at them since Alpha, and I expect that number diminished significantly when beds were implemented. However, in Minecraft, no matter how hard you try, the stars are always there. So I looked at them, and I thought, 'Hm. We have star signs on Earth. Why couldn't there be ones in Minecraft?' It's exactly the same principle: creating order out of chaos. But I think, as the star signs on Earth relate to things on Earth, so should Minecraft star signs relate to Minecraft. And the best part is, you can actually CHOOSE your star sign! But once you do there's no changing it.
So here we have:
Minecraft: The Dawn of Astrology. So far I've compiled five possible star signs, and if you like you can look out for them yourself, or if you see any potential star signs please feel free to post them on the thread and I'll add them to the OP.
THE COAL:
All under the influence of Coal shall find themselves overwhelmed with ludicrously large amounts of, yes, coal. There may also be diamonds as diamonds are the next stage of coal.
THE MO' CREATURES HORSE:
All under the Mo' Creatures Horse may find themselves more likely to find rarer horse breeds in Minecraft such as unicorns or pegasi.
THE PICKAXE:
All under the influence of the Pickaxe will find themselves increasingly determined to get the best-level pickaxe before anything else, and because of this you are more likely to find iron than other star signs.
THE SHOVEL:
All those under the Shovel will find themselves requiring shovels more than any other tool because for one reason or another they need a lot of dirt. This star sign means you are more likely to find shovels in Blacksmith Villagers' chests. But they will be higher tier ones.
THE BUCKET:
Those under the influence of the Bucket will have lots of cobble and obsidian from that cobblestone generator they will ultimately build. However, you are more likely to find diamonds for mining that obsidian.
DISCLAIMER
I do not believe in any such thing as astrology or people's actions being influenced by heavenly bodies miles away. I just think this is an interesting thing to note in Minecraft that has not been seen before.
Those are some amusing observations, anyway. I like the horse, personally.
(By the way, constellations are not necessarily related to astrology. Unless you're going to tell us how these things affect Steve, we're really just talking about constellations.)

This is incredible who would have ever thought of looking at the stars to find constellation. I never really gave it much thought to be honest i just assumed the stars were random every night. Defiantly something i will look for. Thanks for bringing it up.

Fair enough. I'll have to think of something.
