I, being very lazy, typically name most of my Minecraft worlds, survival or otherwise, "New Word" or "New Worlde" or some variant of that. Occasionally if a make a world for a specific purpose, say testing TNT cannon designs, I will give it a unique name, such as "cannon-sphere". What do YOU name your worlds?
My survival world is (boringly) Minecraftia, the my creative world is (again boringly) Creativity. Otherwise they're just named for what I made them for, i.e a redstone contraption world is Redstone Testing.
I create a new world (Named New World) And if it is an EPIC seed, then I go back to the title and re-name it something random. If it's a crappy seed, it gets deleted and I try again.
I just name them... Haha. Whatever happens to be on my mind at the time.
I do this too. I have worlds named:
Hungry [named when I wanted a snack]
Dammit Edward [Edward, my cat, was being annoying at the time I created the world]
AHAHAHAHAHA! [named when I was laughing about something]
Cows [...I guess I named this one when I was thinking about cows]
I like to occasionally be creative. Sometimes I use random strings of words or describe something around me or even what I just plan to do on the world.
When the mood takes me though I like to name them after random words from literature and the science world for example my latest server world is called Mercutio and the title reads "What's in a name?"
Anything just to give you a little smile when you play
My main world still has its original name...World1. Didn't get a choice then.
New ones I create can either have descriptive names, such as the seed or a landmark; something weird like "SuperFlat World of Awesome"; or just gibberish because they're temporary.
I named my first world, from the first time i played Minecraft "YEAAAAAAAAH!" So by tradition, i always just make my main survival world that Hardcore is "Livin Off Da Land #_" I dont do much creative.
