Those aren't actually forever... Myths and God will fade once people stop existing: Why should they stick around when noone is left to believe in them?
Bottom line: there's an end to everything, except for the lack of an end to everything.
So minecraft will eventually die, but I doubt it will for many, many years.
God will always be there, when they die, God will sent them to Heaven or to Hell. If your with him in Heaven, many people will know him.

1. If Mojang continues to work on it and people continue to develop mods and talk about the game, it will live (obviously)
2. If Mojang stops working on it but people continue to develop mods and talk about the game, the lifespan will be a bit shorter (maybe) but as long as there are people to work on it in some way, it will live
3. If Mojang stops working on it and people stop working on it, it can go either way but I think the game will just stop being popular in the end.
So overall, it will either live or die but not "die" (MC no longer updates but it will be held as a classic)
Unfortunetly all things die (my xbox 360 taught me that) yes minecraft will someday die but not soon i promise you that if mojang stops working on it and people still develop mods it will lose popularity but it will live on for a while if people stop developing mods and mojang stops working on it minecraft will then die.
Lesson make minecraft easier to mod and it wont die soon!
Minecraft 2 isnt comming out you dingel berry
Minecraft is the third most sold game in history i dont think its dieing for a while but on the topic of things always dieing what if something didnt die? Like an empire, All Hail the Terran republic!
I think what Mojang really needs to do is focus on terrain, that way Minecraft gets more popular and less boring to some. Especially if they're running out of ideas, terrain is a big complaint about MC.
Eventually the popularity of it will start to fade but there will be people playing MC for many years to come. There are plenty of games older than most people on this forum that still have a strong following. One of the most popular games of all-time is not going to up and disappear any time soon.
I think Minecraft made Indie and Simulation games hit their peak, so if it continues to be the best Indie game ever made, chances are it won't fall into oblivion unless something betteris released.I don't really think Minecraft can ever be topped though, so goody for us I guess lol 😃

Although personally minecraft is no longer very fun for me it is still something that I enjoy every now and then.
Running servers, being active online and being a part of a huge community are all things that are fun for me.
Judging by the updated content, mods, and ever changing SMP features it's going to take a while.
He scream
I sure hope you're being sarcastic
