Notch said that they will not be bringing Minecraft to Playstation. Besides the console version will be not be that great just play the PC version :sleep.gif:
This is the same exact thing that happened when Halo was announced to release only on the Xbox. Honestly, stick to the roots of the game and play on a PC. Besides, I don't even see how it is close to possible to play this on a console with a controller that has few functions.
For Minecraft and perhaps all games it would be great if all three console companies would just work together and release a game on all systems, but that's never going to happen.
Each company likes to have some games besides movie based games that are only for there system Mario is never going to be on ps3 or xbox just like halo will never be on ps3 or Wii.
Maybe I'm getting a little off the topic here though.
Basically Minecraft is stuck on only heading to xbox, I don't like it and I don't plan on getting an xbox because minecraft is coming to it. Although many people perhaps will buy an xbox 360 because of that probably along with other xbox only games, which is exactly what microsoft or any other company wants.
So against nearly all I just said, I want Minecraft on the Wii XD But that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon
but even if they aren't planning too, it's not really set in stone, who knows maybe it will happen someday. Not likely but not impossible either

the wii couldent handle minecraft anyway, its not powerful enough for normal render even

I assume this will never happen because Microsoft will almost cetainly have an exclusivity agreement with Mojang. The only thing I was saying is the PS3 controllers are tiny little things and I feel like I'm going to break them. Microsoft wanting a monthly fee from people is what tips me over the edge on that too and makes Sony a better company even if the PS3 is not necessarily a "better" product. I refuse to pay a monthly fee since I don't play games like COD and there are times I go a month or more without firing that thing up. Also I don't like people so I prefer single player games or play with myself if you will....

you know that the monthly xbox live gold subscription is only for online right? As in...movies...extra content...multiplayer.... you don't have to pay anything if you don't want any of that. Silver is free.
why would people vote no, having it on another consol would expand the minecraft universe, make mojang a ass load of money, and not just cater to the nooby xbox players that still play with there wieners while group chatting on halo.....but you still all sound like a buncha little fan boys grow up and expand your mind past microsoft

I would say the second option is far more likely. People with really nice computers act like complete dicks most of the time because they think it makes them better than you. They may have a better job or they're spoiled little rich punks whose mommy bought it for them but they are certainly not better than you or I. I don't know why the Xbox users would care either way but maybe that's just me. I only have an Xbox and a low-end computer but I wouldn't care if it was on every console. I will vote yes but it really doesn't matter what we want and you guys know that all too well.

Because I swear when I first bought an Xbox360 you did have to pay for a silver membership as well. Also if you can't download extra content like when you get stuff from a pre-order game then what good would it be?
Sounds like a cool concept, but I will alway prefer the PC version.
I thought of just porting my video from my comp to my widescreen. Just need the right cord for it.
