Why are they continuing to change the terrain generation every patch since 1.0? When will we get stability so we don't have to worry about jagged pre/post patch terrain cliffs when we explore more? I run a server and people want to start a new map, but with each patch, a new biome is announced, which means that terrain generation is once again changing.
To be fair he has a perfectly stable point. It IS their game, there were no sort of handicaps put on their development when they left Beta.
But the main issue is that they do add new terrain features, but it's bad when they don't have it affect old worlds. But I don't think that's what this thread is about specifically so I won't go on about it.
