Needs to be longer

To start off this miscillaneous topic, i have a question myself.

Exactly how long is one day in minecraft?

I understand its been an even 15/15 then changed to 15/7.5 but what is it now?

I think that not being able to sleep since hostile mobs are nearby is kinda stupid.

Wow, thanks i couldnt find that for a few days now, and is the total cycle 20 minutes or 17 minutes?

Well lets actually not waste our time so I'll post this:

Do you like the day/night cycle?

Should they be equal again?

Should Night be longer or shorter?

Shoulder Day be longer or sorter?
