I use tmi all the time and still have A LOT of fun in the game. I mainly use the technic pack because I run a server with it. I don't spawn stuff when I'm on my server but I do spawn stuff in singleplayer to test how a automatic factory or something else will work and to test bugs and such
I've never seen inventory editing mods as destroying the fun of the game. Before creative mode came along I constantly used TMI in order to build things. With creative mode I rarely have a need for TMI. If I'm playing a survival world then I don't use an inventory editor, if I'm playing creative I sometimes need TMI since sadly creative doesn't actually contain all the items. Overall, I don't think an experience is spoiled by inventory editors, and if it is that's the fault of the user.
No, building with you imagination being the only limit is amazing. Maybe some of you people who do nothing but criticise people who use them should try it sometime.
The point is to survive, explore, find supplies to survive, and then build those things to survive. And the fun is in doing that, if you can just spawn all the things you need to survive and build than wheres the fun?
To me its like putting a dvd on and skipping straight to the end scene, or getting a book and skip to reading the last page.
You might get to see the climax instantly but you miss everything that made it good :tongue.gif:
