If I let the villagers wander, will they leave the village and essentially be lost forever? I ask because I built my house next to a small two-building village, and one of the villagers has been wandering my farm for days. I've grown quite accustomed to him and I don't want him to leave now lol. Will he continue to wander my farm or will he eventually stray too far?

they wnder like tamed wolves, with their master being the village. so, no they won't leave
They tend to stay in the village, there is a very slight chance if it gets really far away It will forget where the village is and walk around in circles, but you can find him easily
Like literally wander in circles? Or are you saying they just don't tend to wander that far?
