So,everyone talks about the Notched Pickaxe thing, but have you realized any other simalareties between TES and MC.Dragons, the Nether and Oblivion, pickaxes, enchanting,Skyrim and Minecraft had

If you'd like to help me out, I think the best thing you could do is check out my YouTube channel, even more than voting up my reputation, though that'd be nice too.
If you look at most games you are going to see several similarities. You could just as easily compare Minecraft to Mario. Both have an iconic character as the frontman. Both have a very recognizable enemy (Creeper and Goomba/Koopa Trooper), and both games "end" with you fighting a large reptilian like enemy that could be described as a dragon.

There's also a similar useless blocking system (dodging is better in both games) and it has the same annoying repair system from Fallout 3 (even though there's hardly an incentive to use more than one of any item at once).

Where did you get that preposterous hypothesis? Did Steve tell you that perchance? pfft... Steve...

So right clicking with a sword is block now in MC??
There is no repairing in Skyrim :sad.gif:, so not sure what you mean there.

True, I am saying that there seems to be other funny simalarities. I'm not saying that everything is the same. Good point, though. A Notch for you!
All the similarities that you posted aren't really similarities, they are just common things in video games.
Dragons?
There are lots of RPGs with Dragons. It's just a common mythological creature.
Oblivion and Nether?
There are supposed to be representations of what hell is. Since Notch didn't want to call the place Hell, he called it Nether.
Pickaxes?
They used to be in the Elder Scrolls games (as weapons). Finding them in Skyrim would simply make sense. Albeit the only thing that makes it similar to Minecraft is the mining style (either pressing A, X, or Use, or actually hitting the ores), which is supposed to be a joke as Bethesda stated that after the whole "Sue" incident, they said Skyrim was going to have Minecraft-esque mining.
Enchanting?
Again, a common RPG factor.

I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death, Nor known to life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works
