I'm really exited that MineCon is in a month. Not that I'm going, but the full release :biggrin.gif: . I'm hoping that it will be on CD, because one of my friends wants it but doesn't have internet. I also can't wait to see how much it would sell if it were a Wal-Mart. But I'd really like it to not require java. Most games like Bejeweled or Portal 2 or whatever are written in C++.(I think)
So what do you guys think?
This kind of makes me wish I would've waited for it to come out on Xbox. Now no one is gonna be playing on the computer. I'll be alone. Unless, of course, I buy the game. It will all depend on how pricey it is.
I can't wait for the full release, too! Also, the release on Xbox. Maybe multiplayer will have no lag :smile.gif:
I've got a single core Athlon XP and I hate how much it lags. Especially in multiplayer. Also, hopefully Minecraft won't have any bugs after they clear the code.
The lag has barely anything to do with the game itself the lag comes from the latency on the server-basically the speed of your internet :smile.gif:
I know, but everyone knows minecraft requires a sufficient amount of RAM. I was talking about multiplayer lag, which requires the server owner to have a good computer and extremely fast internet connection. On my Xbox, playing multiplayer games has absolutely no lag whatsoever. I'm hoping, and thinking, that playing multiplayer on Xbox won't share the same requirements for no lag, considering that the Xbox is pretty much a computer made into a game console.

Are you kidding me? Most minecraft players will still be on the computer! I will sure be!
