It's the internet, you posted something about Christians being, well, overly-Cristian. What did you expect would happen in a form mostly populated with light-hearted Christians and Atheists?
I'm not trying to start a religious flame-war here, but according to the Cristian bible, anything "Not of this world" or not in god's eye is considered a demon. It doesn't use that wording, but it does say that.
Well yes, too much of anything is bad. That was the real point about Minecraft, and it's valid, Christian or not.
Although I think some people get a bit too wrapped up in calling everything "the occult," even if it has practically no ties whatsoever to stuff like that.
There's no pasage in the Bible that I know of that calls anything "the occult" - it seems to be something that has happened in the past 100 years or so.
To be honest, there's not much in the Christian faith that mentions how to handle entertainment. Serious attempts to do this stuff is forbidden of course, but the line's kinda blurry when it comes to whether entertainment falls into that category or not.
Number uno thing why I'm ashamed to be a christian.
Bah, they represent a pretty minority opinion from what I can tell. My biggest pet peeve though is that non-Christians run away with this stuff and pretend it represents the majority.
Did she say she wanted to make a video game that teaches kids how to use the sword?
The sword of the spirit is a biblical metaphor - that's what she's likely talking about.

Except it's not overly Christian at all. Frankly, many Christian sects are worshiping a twisted stereotype that has developed in the past 100 years, rather than Christianity as it was about 2000 years ago.
As far as I know, the Bible doesn't mention much about theatre or fictional literature, so there seems to be different interpretations of the passages that deal with that stuff. I tend to be a bit more flexible in the interpretation, but others may be a bit more strict.

When all is said and done, Will you have said more than you have done?
We're all going to hell, yeah. But if Minecraft is hellish, we're going to be inside Minecraft. Surrounded by Minecraft fans. Forever.
I've gotta go commit some more sins.

I am a girl who has a strange fetish for villains from video game franchises. If you have a fetish for dressing up as one, gimme a PM.

Now where did I put my shot gun, this guy needs a good lesson in freedom of will.
referring to the video in the OP
This? Oh nothing. It's just the monkey flinging his pile of poo at the world.
