I'd rather not either. On another negative side, you're eating up the usernames that are available.
Though it does make me wonder what course of action Mojang would take if someone was caught making mule accounts to purchase more than their limit. I haven't found anything on the limiting. No reasoning, not even an announcement about it.

Pretty sure that by default they'll (somehow) block all the accounts that are convicted included in the process of buying those gift codes.
But this is just my assumption.
and back to topic here we go.

Hey, vexx. If you ever get out of debt with this, I think I know someone who could use an account. I've got a neighbor who's turning 7 later this month, and to be honest, he's really cool. He LOVES Minecraft. Every time I have to watch him he ends up playing it. He's a really cool kid who'd deserve an account.
I Would like a gift code because were having a rough time with money nowadays and i dont have the money to buy a gift code.. That is why i want a gift code. Thank You For Your Time Reading This.
note: Then I mention a group of people in my posts, i mean the majority of information i have seen from that group, and my statement may not be accurate for every individual in that group.
I can't believe (In the good way) you are doing this. Seriously, you are the most generous person I've ever seen on the internet. I really wish I could do the same, but here where I live, Minecraft would be like 35 BRL (19 USD). I already got my premium copy, and I'm thinking to make a Giveaway on my Youtube channel. Thank you for this generous stuff, and keep up the good work. :smile.gif:
And I saw you guys' dilemma about the giftcode cap, and I am 95% sure you can buy gift codes without being logged in to an account, so you might be able to log-out, buy the codes, and log-in again.

No, it's not possible.

And an off-topic question, something fell on my keyboard, and the forum is now skinnier, there used to be about 1 inch of the stone background, now there is about 2 1/2 on each side. I know its a button combo, but i don't know the buttons.
Ah dang, I wish I knew about this thread sooner. Anyways, can I request my name to be added to the superhuge waiting list?
First, let me explain the ordeal that I went through trying to buy this game. (Warning: Wall of text)
When I first find out Minecraft it was just beta 1.3, almost a year back. I saw some LPs on Youtube (mainly Guude's Mindcrack) & got really interested in the game & made up my mind to buy it.
So I went to the site, registered & saw that I needed a credit/debit card. I had none. So I went to my bank & applied for one. Now I'm a college student in India & if anyone has the slightest idea how anything in India works, you should know what happens in any administrative work. So by the time I got my card it was beta 1.5. Great work bank guys.
So now having a Debit card (since getting a DC is easier than CC) I went back to the site & tried to buy, all excited & stuff & woh, what do I get? Transaction Failed, so apparently my card doesn't work. I asked my bank & they say that they don't have the ability to buy stuffs online yet. Only option is to open an account in another bank & get another DC.
& so I do that & when I get my new DC it's August & Minecraft is now 1.7. Time sure flies when you're waiting for the red tape to work :sad.gif:
So I try again & Transaction Failed again. So I go to my bank & yell & they say oh you need a Credit Card for buying online. So this time, my uncle hears about this situation & decides to buy it for me as a gift. He uses his CC & guess what? Transaction Failed. He asks his bank & they say that they suspect minecraft.net of being an unsafe site & will not allow any transaction to it. WTF :ohmy.gif:
So my uncle who trusts his bank more than his own nephew's word, decides that Minecraft is indeed an unsafe site & refuses any further help with Minecraft (a virus he calls it :X)
1.8 is released & I decide to pay for it online using paypal, thinking to myself that should've done this from the start. So I verify my bank (takes 3 days, PP's pretty fast) & try to buy directly through paypal by uploading funds to paypal from my bank.
& here's the real kicker. In 2010 the Reserve Bank of India & Paypal had an argument & RBI refused any Indian users to upload funds to their PP account from their banks.
Really? I mean, what are the ****ing chances of that?
So Paypal's useless & I'm left without any options to buy the game. Minecon happens. i watch videos on YT, being sad the entire time.
Then I hear something new. Moneybookers can also be used to buy Minecraft & they aren't under RBI laws.
I knew about MB but didn't know that RBI didn't ruled over them.
So here's my last chance. I register at Moneybookers.
Now since I don't have a job yet, so I don't want to make a Credit Card for myself before I get one, seeing as neither my parents have any.
So using MB I still have to upload funds from my bank & then use that to buy Minecraft. Okay. I'm cool with that. I verify my bank & get ready to upload funds to MB. Then I find out that to upload funds it'll be a International Wire transfer & it'll cost me $30 for making any International Wire transfer :ohmy.gif:
No, I'm not making this up. That is the actual price of any international money transfer in my bank & other banks aren't too cheap either.
It's at this point, after almost a year of trying to buy this game, that I finally gave up. I realized that just by being born in India, I was ****ed & I'm NEVER getting Minecraft. That was a few days before Xmas.
Just a few hours ago, I found this forum thread & I honestly wish I'd knew about this sooner. I really REALLY do NOT want to have to resort to pirating this awesome game, so please, I request my name to be added to the list.

I ... I honestly don't know what to say. I just woke up & saw this & I'm completely speechless.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. You are so generous. THANK YOU.
My minecraft account name is crocdactyl (my username without the o - that was already taken)
First thought that came to mind, though I would really rather not if at all possible.
It doesn't matter whether I support or object to the subject at hand, if your argument is stupid I am against you.

Not sure, but what do we all know is that this limit made us realize that Mojang probably never supports this action in the first place.
Now let's get back to more code asking and less chitchatting :3
... yes, they are not wizards (I wish vexx was a wizard)

You could try entropay. IT makes a virtual CC.
My parents won't let me buy anything off the internet, or from a store! I don't get why I can't spend my own money...
This is a very generous thing you are doing; you are VERY nice!
