Ahh...I cherish the memories. And yes, I still have my save. It is from Alpha 1.2.6. My house is built into a mountain and is also a mine. During the updates, it gets upgraded with a bedroom and a mobtrap outside. It also has a nice looking moat. It's on my friends computer though. :mellow.gif:
i still have my first world and comparing it to my other worlds it was very nooby with a simple wood house with cobblestone floor patches, i still kept it because thats where i found my first skeleton dungeon but not necessarily my very first one though.
i always keep a world which i found a dungeon except if the world was a seed test map.
today its still very nooby but with a bit of renovations it could be as good as my second world which is my best!
also try out the seed: !@£$%^&*()
capslocked number 1 to 0 on a british keyboard
there is no dungeons nearby but the terrain generation looks cool.
I still have my first world.
Most of what I can remember of it was getting diamonds and falling into lava, and going into the nether for the first time and falling into lava.
I still search for the portal and the house I made next to it today.
Yeah I have my first save, it was on 12.2 and I had watched a small review to see what everyone was so exited about. I played classic for free then once I loved that I got the full game. All I really knew that if I didn't make a shelter and cower in a corner all night @#$% would get bad. I spawned on a beach of sand so I built a sand house with a dirt roof, which I use to this very day as my main storehouse even though I have a three story condo on a plateau with a powered rail ride to it and a temple with glowstone everywhere. I even use a Nether portal and Nether transport between my temple and condo. In my deep mine I have a portal to the Aether from the mod, so it's evolved quite a ways but I've played on and off and have really only started playing again when pistons came out because I really wanted to make doors with them. I have started other words but spend most of my time with my first...and all my other ones have been deleted because I didn't like them very much.
There is also my train station and my "monolith" that is that dirt tower that goes to the top of the map so I can see it from a distance away (useful to this day but not as much since I have a full map and compass). Also, that obsidian frame was once a Nether portal but it caused too many problems and the noise got annoying (it just linked to the same one as the portal by my condo and caused some weird things to happen). Yeah all kinds of stories...
No *continues talking as a lone tear rolls down cheek* My friend had told me about a couple cool world seeds to try out, and after I had discovered how much I really didn't like them I started deleting them. While doing this I accidently deleted it, which was a really sucked cause i had my amazing house, and the seed was a island with a big mountain in the middle....since then I always make a memorial tree lit by a lone torch to remember what once was.
My first ever world I made I still use today, it's my main world. I don't see why I would ever delete it... I'd be like a part of my dieing...

Why you be a minen' in me mines? If you need to contact me, a private message is the way to go. I almost never come back to a topic after I've commented on it.
I had my first world, did a lot of work on it etc. Then, I deleted it. Don't remember why or how, but it was gone.
Fast forward a few months. I end up really missing my world. Then, an update coems that changes the world select menu, and I see something. A 'World 99'. I open it up, and face out of a small glass window at a natural lavafall. Not remember this (It was me exploring before I changed worlds), I go down, and find a small outpose with a dock... And immediately remember. I grabthe nearest boat and sail back, and there everything is, just as I remembered it. My first house, my first 'castle', my spawn tower and mineshaft.
I got lost in my first map and died, so I deleted it.
I miss Winter Mode...
Story of every single SSP world I make. If I somehow manage to form a decent base, I die, get lost and proceed to delete the world and create a new one.
I never seem to remember that I should at least make a lighthouse if not a pathway from spawn. I would build at or around my spawn, but I tend to not like the area at all.
Iv build a little shack on alpha days,
Lost my location of the shack.. :|
just because you're correct doesnt mean you're right

And the best bit of it was that it all was pure islands.
No mainland anywhere.
I miss it.
Not sure how it went.

The update had brought my world back to me.
