@cody123100 I suck at photoshop so if I rendered something onto a page it would be quite noticable.
No, I didn't mean photoshop renders. I meant it's easy to go into the code and alter the way your character is rendered. In fact if you wanted to get a mojang cape in singleplayer all you'd have to do is literally change one line of code. It's a bit more complex for multiplayer because you'd want to limit who you see wearing the cape, and if you use the same method as I was talking about for singleplayer you would see everyone wearing mojang capes.
No one will belive you until you let them go onto your computer suddenly while you where gone to some distant lands on vacation and they see it for themselves and check out your minecraft file and everything.

It wouldn't require that much proof. He would just have to log onto a vanilla server and everyone on that server would be able to tell whether the cape was actually legit or not. If it is legit others would be able to see it. If it wasn't legit they wouldn't.
You can't take them off. The rendering engine of each (unmodded) client searches Mojang's servers for a cloak that matches the username of the player to be rendered. If a cloak is found then it is rendered. For example, Notch's cloak is http://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftCloaks/Notch.png
You're so luuuucky.

How do these cloaks work anyways?
