I think that the year game make take place in.... hmm i dont know. because theyres no cars but teyres furnaces. you can dye wool and craft a bunch of items. and iron doors,wooden doors and redstone wiring. so i dont know. But what do you guys think. The 20`s? AD BC Midevil times? i though id ask you minecrafters

we the way I see it. to craft a car you would need a big machine to do it. as for tools they are easy to make {but takes a lot of practice} and if you were stranded you would think up of some way to build a furnace of sorts. do it could be modern day, but I doubt that as half the population would probably be hitting buttons of their phones trying to get a signal.

I always liked to think that the human race had all but obliterated itself and the world in some giant thermonuclear war with massive bioweapons (would explain the...abnormal creatures at night. the farm animals could have been genetically modified to not become puddles of mush from the first bomb.)
I thought that the bomb dropped around 2100. Now, you're somewhere in the 3000s (earth has had sufficient time to revert to normal, just as it did in the beginning as well as after the whole meteor incident. Just that animals still...aren't back to the way they were.
It would also explain you. You were the only one to successfully receive a vaccine making you immune and also have somewhat superhuman properties, among these the ability to go . However, the last bomb completely obliterated your shelter, along with your supplies, sending you flying away.
You wake up with no memory of anything except basic survival - eating, crafting, mining, and basic combat.
