Just got the update while i was messing with my mods =) now i gotta wait for more updates haha oh the irony :dry.gif:
Changes:
Advanced OpenGL readded.
Framerate cap can now be changed, with toggles of 40 FPS, 90 FPS and 200 FPS.
Improvements for slow and old computers.
Bug Fixes:
Dropped equipment no longer breaks on the first use.
Objects will now be pushed out if they are within a block.
Lighting acts normal again when placing/removing torches.
New Bugs:
In SMP, the sleeping animation is not played when trying to sleep in a bed. Instead, the player may walk around freely until all players are sleeping. Trying to right-click the bed again will give you "The bed is occupied" message.
Framerate limit can not be removed, but setting Framerate limit at 90 or 200 FPS allows FPS to exceed this.[1]
Setting Framerate Limit to 40 FPS actually increase CPU usage.[2]
Holding a map in a boat can cause the left arm to be too high.[3]
It is no longer possible to use up all crafting materials at once by shift-clicking.
Some chunks still don't recieve proper lighting updates when switching from day -> night and vice versa.
In initial versions, the version number was no longer shown. The one with the version number was re-uploaded within few minutes.
Some trees will have pine leaves on them regardless of fast or fancy graphics and extras added on. [4]
After you teleport to the nether, you will experience the swirl screen as if you were heading back as soon as you arrived. This wont teleport you, but it wont stop until you move.
I only looked for a second. The tools seemed okay after a drop. Furnace in SP still eats the bucket of lava (Wasn't expecting it to be fixed this version anyway).
I may have missed it, but Ingame I didn't see see the version number outside of the title screen.

New Bugs:

* You can't disable the framerate limit.
I'm perfectly fine with no version number showing on my screen until 1.71
If you have a one tile powered track attached to a switch, you can't use it to get your car going. You hit the button, the track powers, but your car just sits there.
To me, all these updates are just mod breakers. There was already a mod for Wild (Tall) Grass. And theres a minimap mod. Its just stupid to add things to the game that have already been unoffically done.

Why is it stupid to add things to the game that have been unofficially done? Not everyone is going to get the same mods so why not make some of the better ideas in mods a standard feature for everyone?

Thats silly. If mojang adds it ,the people like me who don't want to mess with mods get stuff. Any officially supported feature in my opinion is better and more stable than any mod can be.
i found a bugfix, before in 1.6.4, if you overfilled a chest with things using the shift+click method, or overfilled your inventory, the game would crash.

This has killed my train system.
Remove glitch boosters for powered rails.
Powered rails don't work.
Well my rail system is also wrecked. I guess I'll be waiting for 1.7 to play with my carts.

No diferences only, Bug fix.
I was fiddling with my mods too.\
Can't look at Minecraft yet, trying to move some maps to my folder.
In 1.6.4, whenever you started a world, if you were under a block, you'd choke on that block or fall from the sky.

Support Coloured beds!
same here ingame its blank

I've got 99 problems, but a sword ain't one.

Whenever you add a _0X at the end, it is a bugfix.
