Hello.
In my crafting I noticed 2 small bugs that are just horrible.
Furnaces spit out all of your coal and you "wish-to-smelt" items and leave only one coal and "smelt-able" inside. You then have to put them back in again. Rater frustrating
And if you have approx. cut down 15 pieces of wood with an Axe it will randomly break from that point on.
Those are the only bugs I've noticed in the past 3 hours.
(P.S. Skeletons are now spawning in clusters :angry.gif: )

The item spitting is annoying but the leftover coal is actually coal with a non-positive quantity. You can actually use that as a source of "infinite" coal.
Auto-updated to 1.6.2 this morning. Almost immediately:
1. I had an almost new iron pick (crafted prior to the upgrade). After mining a single block of redstone it broke. I'm leery of using my pre-upgrade diamond sword for fear it will break on the first chicken.
2. I mined 12 blocks of iron ore, dropped them in a furnace (crafted prior to the upgrade) with seven units of coal already in it. As soon as I dropped the iron ore in, it was reduced to only a single block (which did smelt to a single bar of iron), and the coal dropped from 7 to 1 (should have dropped from 7 to 6). Some (but I don't think all; certainly not an infinite supply as elsewhere suggested) of the extra coal was floating outside the furnace, but the lost iron ore was nowhere to be found.
Did something change about the data structures for crafted items that is not being updated properly when loaded by 1.6.2?
- Durability breakage of items in multiplay: Items break/disappear after a few uses, regardless of current dur. Random.
- Nether portals are utterly crazy: Make portal in earth, enter, nether portal is formed. leave. Go miles away on earth map. Make new portal miles away. enter. end up in first portal in nether. Attempt to make new portal in nether near other portal to bridge them together... Make new portal in real world? Go into portal, have someone disable portal on other side, return with portal, new portal formed on earth. INFINITE OBSIDIAN! YAY!
- smelter issues as other posts above.
- items not rising when blocks placed over them.
I'm sure notch will fix them quickly, and I can always use the give command to get back items in multiplayer. (And no, that's not cheating, it's temp-fixing the problem.)
There is also a bug in 1.6.4 where if you break a few blocks the lighting will mess up and all blocks behind the initial ones will be in absolute darkness even right next to a torch.
Now that I think on this, I saw this issue too. Lighting is a bit wonky in places...
When I start My Server, It crashes!

Bugs are fixed. In regards to your question, I don't know.
I loaded up my 345 hour save and I was buried in some random place?
I had to delete and start over
I think yes
I had to do this last year when the nether came out, but it prevented me from losing my main world. Pro tip. +1 for you.
