When you buy the Beta version, you're signed up to get the Full version which will include all updates.
You're not just paying to play beta, it's a "discounted pre-order" of the full version, that allows you to play during beta.
If you like it (I'm assuming you do), it's worth paying the $21 to get the full because (imo) it'll be more of a ***** to try to find and wait for the cracks for each update (and in your case, waiting for server cracks). I'm kind of impressed
I really hate these guys on here who are goodie-two-shoes about the pirating stuff saying "buy it, definitely buy it" etc, but it is a fair price for a game that is enjoyable.

Sorry if I came across as a goodie-two-shoes. I pirated it before I bought it, so I thought nothing of this. Also, Minecraft is worth any price.
Okay I'm going to give you some information. This is off the top of my head, and I haven't checked in on this stuff in a while so don't quote me on it.
If you buy the game right now, you get a beta premium account, not alpha premium account, or post-beta premium account.
Alpha (and inf-dev) accounts are guaranteed free DLC for life.
Beta accounts MAY get free DLC, Notch hasn't made it clear yet.
Post-beta accounts (accounts purchased after the game is released out of beta,) will have to pay for DLC.
All the aforementioned accounts will receive updates for free. Updates being bug fixes, minor content changes (I think.) Notch hasn't really said what he plans for DLC.
If you buy it right now, your account should convert to beta premium instantly.
I can understand it when a person cannot purchase the game and he cracks it because he has no other way and he loves the game.
But people like you, who can buy the game yet you crack it just make me sick.
i really want this game but i dont know if its worth it + i heard that it will be on steam and 60$
ignorant people annoy me.. Notch has confirmed that he will not put minecraft on steam + 60 dollars isnt worth minecraft to me and I bet many others think so also. 30-40? maybe. I think right now at 21 us dollars is enough.
Please note that the following figures are just for illustration, using USD. I assume that the values are comparable in most countries.
Do you go to the movies? You are entertained for 2 hours for $7. (Being really reasonable, long movie and cheap theater)
At the very worst, you will get bored of Minecraft after your first house, mine and diamond weapons. Let's say achieving this the first tame takes you 10 hours. Then you never play again, even after updates and a full release.
So, a movie you get 2 hours of entertainment for $7(USD), or 7/2 = 3.5 dollars per hour of entertainment.
In Minecraft, you will likely get more than 10 hours of entertainment for $21(USD), or 21/10 = 2.1 dollars per hour of entertainment.
2.1/3.5 = 0.6 or your entertainment costs 60% of what it would at a theater, per hour.
TL;DR: The per dollar entertainment value that you get from Minecraft is extremely cost effective, definitely making it worth it.
