Ever since I saw the seed glacier, I've wanted to build a house like this. Starting from one of the cliff overhangs, I would build a tower downward (the underside of the overhang being the roof). In other words, I would create a stalactite house. I haven't had the opportunity to do this yet, but if anyone's done something like it I'd love to see videos/pictures/etc.
The biggest problem is how you can't build top to bottom and stay on it, so you are forced to use scaffolding
You can do that with one single bucket of water, once placed on the top of the block you want to build down from, jump into the stream and look up while swimming and holding the space bar, this causes you to stay mid water where you are and you can switch to a block and start planting from there, once done swim back and pick up the water :smile.gif:

Get out there, kick the clutch, catch that rear end, and feel it.

WOW HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THIS
im trying to build a house under an overhang at 110Y, and it took me forever to get a good scaffolding and floor to be able to build my house on
i would have saved so much time if i had done this >.<
will definately try it if i ever build another stalactite house :biggrin.gif: TY!

The entrance could either be from the top of the cliff or via some sort of sky bridge from the side of the cliff.

Build up, then destroy the bottom (mine it or TNT)
