Might be a dumb question, but I went on a trip, tamed 6 wolves, and lost 2 of them because of their low health. So how do I feed them? Right click only makes them sit, and when I left click, I hit them. If I have a piece of ham, I either eat it, or accidentally hit them with it

their tails act as a sort of health bar as well, the more (raw) porkchops you feed them the higher up their tails will rise of course thats to a point... what i have so far experienced is that at around 10 degrees above horizontal their tails wont rise anymore.
another good indicator is sit them down and feed them until they stand up again thats what i have been doing
if they are missing any health at all, right clicking with a cooked or raw pork chop heals them.
if they are full health, right click makes them sit regardless of if you are holding a pork chop.
See the picture in the thread in my sig to tell what their tail is saying about their health. If it's above horizontal, they are full health.
If they regularly get low on health, you should use zombie flesh to feed them. It doesn't hurt them, and restores their health just like any other meat does.
Stop telling me how to tame them

Reccomendation: Don't use the minecraft forums if you don't play minecraft.
