I actually first played it to find something to make fun of. I quite recall having a rather enjoyable minecraft day punching pigs for delicious pork chops and killing pigs and chickens for no reason. Even before I had built anything I was all "this game rules"! I think I was killed by a creeper on my first night. I do remember thinking the spiders were evil cows, since I only saw their glowing eyes from a distance at the time.
Actually, come to think of it, every time I try or watch something with the intent of finding fodder with which to make fun of it I later find myself to become a fan of it. Same thing happen(s) with MLP. You can look that up yourself. I'm still in the denial phase to be honest. The only one that this didn't happen with was Halo, I played it for a few minutes, and decided to play the version without load screens, also known as "Duke Nukem 3d".
Minecraft is hardly the game I play with the "worst" graphics, anyway. I've never really had a problem with the graphics, I've always thought they were decent; I mean you hit a block- particle effects. you break a block- particle effects. place a torch? lighting enamates from it. break a block that would otherwise obstruct said torch? light spreads outside the area that was blocked, etc. The only thing "bad" about the graphics is the 16x16 textures and the sprites, but I've always considered that a design choice; it also takes a hell of a lot less time to create new items that way.
actually most of them hate because their jealous or just angry that minecraft is spreading so fast and its way better than their stupid halo,cod games so they try and find an excuse to hate on it

well really if they knew more about the game and you can use 128x128 hd texture packs it wouldnt be that bad.
and actually they could make the graphics better but notch is making minecraft simple it suits the game itself

Yeah, heck I once saw a guy ranting about how coal disappears when you cook it and thought it was a bug. He also thought that cobblestone was glitched and he actually crafted a pick axe and used it to cut down a tree. He was all angry about how they don't actually cut trees down fast enough and he thought random lava flows were volcanos. Thiis outraged me this is a tumblr blog.
The only thing was now is Roblox. That game copied lots and lots of things from Minecraft. And the Roblox community cried why Minecraft's graphics "suck".

Very true, I was a huge Minecraft hater before i decided to try it. I thought it was another stupid RPG like Farmville or something similar. One day I thought i might as well see what all the fuss is about and tried it. Addicted ever since.
Same here. I play LEGOs too, so I thought 'ohh, this guy is ripping off LEGO,' but then I got the demo on a whim and I was sucked in.
The only reason I hate minecraft is because it's so unoriginal, has horrible coding, and literally every kid plays it.

It is so NOT unoriginal. While there is building games that came before it, none of them had survival involved. And about it having horrible coding, I'm no tech geek, but I know for a fact that Minecraft is VERY well coded. And about the literally every kid plays it part, what are you, that old guy that screams "Get off my lawn!"? While it may be true, it doesn't mean you should hate on it. All that did is just make you look like you hate kids. Shame on you, MD, shame on you.
