Even though this probably won't be read by anyone important, please fix the FPS issue. Let us put a number that we want to limit it to.
My brother was playing the other night and his FPS was at a roaring 450 FPS. He limited it and it was still very high. This in turn has made his video card overheat and now he can't turn his PC on without it screen tearing. We think it is due to the video card melting itself due to the high strain put on it. He is buying a new video card now.
Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, or if it was related to Minecraft, but talk about an expensive bug.
I want different flowers for decoration
to be able to grow the newer trees...
pets (like everyone else)
Maybe some rare-ish mob's that are bosslike
working bookshelves, maybe also the ability to type up books so you could have like rulebooks for servers or make your own books...
Maybe the ability to dig down to the nether?
to be able to make mossy cobblestone
lanterns
More mobs
different foods?
More use out of wheat
Different doors besides wood and iron, maybe gold doors to be flashy to the neighbors
Maybe a type of lighting to put on your head or something if they dont add lanterns, that way when digging into a cavern or something you dont have to repeatedly lay out torches...
And the ability to dance :wink.gif:
This is what I would like in any up coming updates.
1. Obviously, bug fixes. My SMP is just to laggy and has many bugs.
2. 5 new mobs. 1. Baby Creepers (passive) 2. Dogs (passive) (aggresive when you punch them) 3. Humans (the world is just to lonely at day) 4. Horses (to ride around) 5. Underwater animal of any kind (aggresive)
3. A use for bookcases, netherrack (its to boring) and a new block in the nether.
4.New building blocks (I get tired of mining stone all day)
5. The ability to set spawn points (via Beds?) or something.
6. Maybe add new kind of portals which can warp you to places in SP.
7. More spider jockeys
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.
I'm in favor of the two things Notch has hinted at already -- Achievements and Eating/Drinking Meters.
--------
But, for a SLIGHT challenge, if we could OPTIONALLY enable need meters, it'd mean we have to stock up on enough supplies to last us through a dungeon crawl. It adds an element of strategy; do I build a waystation down near the bedrock, so I can eat/drink/sleep, or do I just set out with whatever I can carry?
Basically, I want some goals, structure, and challenge that go beyond MOAR MOBS ZOMG KILL STUPH.
We already know an update is gonna make the beds the spawn point, but I want that mossy cobble spread the most.
There better be an option right before you sleep or you gotta do something special to pop up the menu at the bed otherwise traveling will suck cause a lot of the time I make a bed and travel so I dont have to bother with night. If this changes to that bed Ill probably lose sight of which direction my main base is.
More and meaner monsters, the ones we have at the moment are just not scary enough. Hide behind a bit of mud and the monsters can't touch you, that is what I call ***** monsters.
note: Then I mention a group of people in my posts, i mean the majority of information i have seen from that group, and my statement may not be accurate for every individual in that group.
I'd like to see more stuff for redstone like a block that functions like an AND gate. There's also the water gate that everyone wants.
For the future I'd like to see some sort of scripting added to make adventure maps more official. If anyones familiar with the Starcraft or Warcraft3 map editors you'll have a general idea about what I'd like to see in it. It should also let the creator choose what types of blocks can be manipulated and what types of blocks can't be. It should also let the creator set a boundary limit that the player can't cross.
Aside from wolves and the whole stat/achievement thing, all I'm expecting is bug fixes and some performance enhancing, maybe some new buttons in the option menu that do stuff. No worries though, they have only just got back a week ago or something a rather.

To stop yourself getting killed while in a bed, make sure the area you are sleeping in is TOTALLY safe, because if there is one possible way for a monster to get in, it will probably get in through there.
Apparently dogs/wolves will be added, with achievements/stats. I would like to see things such as working bookshelves, possibly actual values for the Nether, working SMP portals, etc.
ummmm, beds gets skeles on purpose....

☺
I think mossy cobble should only be gotten from dungeons, as it has some value currently.

100% for this.

I hope some things in Mo' Creatures are added in also. (officially)
Same with Aether Mod :tongue.gif:

Then you, Sir VictorT, are NOBODY, because NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Fixed SMP lapis.
A game breaking bug that will take a week to fix.
